  1. A map? Well, that makes sense! Is it a "real" map, or something to look like a map? How did you make it?
  2. Looking good, Chris. What's that thing in the interior bucket that looks like a Birch log?
  3. Sorry. ROG = Revell of Germany.
  4. Nice Petes! And the Ford looks pretty cool, too! Aren't those snap Petes great? Is the grey & red one the ROG kit?
  5. Ray, There was a guy out of Australia at www.modeltrucks.com.au who had Caterpillar C16 engines in resin. You could get them as a kit or already built & detailed. Funny thing is though, his site worked last week, but I couldn't get it to work today. Strange. Maybe it will work tomorrow. Maybe he's out of business. The engines looked nice though. He had the C16, DD Series 60, DD 8V92, DD 8V71, & Cummins N14; and he said that more were going to be offered. Also, on the oter board, there was a discussion about someone offering the Cummins Signature engine. I think this was the predesessor to the ISX, so one should be able to convert it. But knowing your track record with the ISX, you probably don't want a model of one!
  6. I like what you've done. The weathering is superb. Makes it look like a real work-a-day truck that works hard for a living.
  7. Great KW! The detailing is fantastic. And that dashboard is beautifully done. Great job.
  8. Very nice! I like the detailing you did.
  9. I like your interior. Actually, I like the entire concept. hould look very nice when it's all said & done. Cool stearing wheel.
  10. Ken, Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I think I'll try and center it between the two seats. Seems to make sense. When I build this kit again, I'm planning on making it a LNT-8000 tractor. Any suggestions on a doner transmission or aftermarket transmission?
  11. Tim, I'm appear to be a little slow on the uptake here, but a very nice build. Or rebuild as the case may be! Question: your AC hoses, what gauge wire did you use? What about the cover? I'm planning on putting an AC unit on top of my Ford LN8000, and I like this detail and I'd like to add it. Thanks in advance.
  12. Quick question on the Ford LN8000 interior. (Yes, this is still the same project I started months go.) When I add the shifter to the interior tub, it is in the center of the passenger seat. Maybe it's just me, but that seems a little far away from the driver, and quite uncomfortable for the passenger. Is this in the correct spot? Most of the pics I've been able to find are of the manual transmission, not the automatic. Thanks,
  13. Lee, I like your shooting bench. Do you shoot benchrest competively or is it for sighting in your deer rifles? I shoot smallbore pone myself.
  14. You know, I just thought of something. My father-in-law works for Carrier here in Syracuse, NY. Maybe I can get some information on this system. I'll see what he can get.
  15. Well, that's bizare! Immagine that pulling up behind you on the freeway! Looks like something Ghost Rider would drive if he were a trucker instead of a biker.
  16. Greg, Is this 359 going to be the "little brother" of your truck?
  17. Scott, The General looks great! Good job. I have a couple of Generals in my stash, and I hope they come out half as good. Love your work.
  18. Tim, That's a definate possibility. I just went to http://tahlborn.web.aplus.net/tim.htm and tried the link again. Sure enough, it went to www.plasticcowboy.com. It's the link down toward the bottomo of the page inbetween the "Movin' On" link and the orange truck. Used to work.
  19. I was going from the link on http://tahlborn.web.aplus.net/tim.htm. I don't know why it didn't work.
  20. I hear ya! Nothing like working from home. Al least that's what I do.
  21. Is it my imagination, or has it been awfully quiet around here for the last few days?
  22. That works! Must have had an old like or something. Thanks,
  23. Tim, I tried to go to www.truckmodeler.com yesterday, and all I saw was an alert saying that it was the future home of plasticcowboy.com. Do I have the correct Website?
