  12. I really like this..don't know where you got those wheels, but they look great
  13. OK..heres the story, picked this kit up somewhere for cheap cuz I like the '69s it's the AMT/ertl release that just states "69 Firebird. It comes with the parts to make a t/a but no decals cept plates. it does come with a nifty 6cyl. though!..I wanted to do a T/A so I got the blue from mcw with Duplic. white. now is where what a kit it is comes in..built the way designed the motor mounts on a peg that's part of the one piece chassis/front susp. putting the front of the engine up to high...when the body mates to the chassis you get a stance that looks like it has 800 lbs. of concrete in the trunk! I could have fixed all of that, but I didn't feel like looking at it anymore so it was banished to the back of a bottom shelf for the last 6yrs. or so. So I decided to see if I could make it a little more presentable I removed almost all the front cross member to get the motor down the radiator had to be relocated and I added about 9 scale inches to the rear and it still don't look right..clear yellowed a little and I never added the pinstripes, but it can sit with the other pontiacs now
  14. Hey there Michelle...looks like your on the right track with some pretty cool builds!..I like the Rivy, and I kinda like the Charger without the foil, gives it a kinda sinister look I see you like to foil last and if that works good for you that's what matters.. I apply foil after the body is painted cured and rubbed out, then I clear the whole thing which "seals" the BMF it also eliminates having to handle the completed model as much, but again you do what works for you and you obviously have some skills' rest is just doing and learning and this is a great place for that!..although some of the stuff here makes me want to go back to coloring books and crayons
  15. That is a sweet "Imp"
