  1. Grabbed the revell 1/12 Mustang with my 40% off coupon took $28 off!!! Hobby Lobby is my usual place to get kits with the coupon you can't beat it.
  2. Valspar is the same way I just wish testors had bigger cans of the laquer and enamel!
  3. Mine would be the AMT Model T kit that you can get two cars out of, the flash on the parts trees the horrible mold lines and sink marks! I try and sit down and do it but I just get fed up and work on another kit. Having a hard time laying down paint even too, and that those little cans of testors laquer dont seem to last to long! This hobby frustates me as much as it inspires me to be better at it, but at the end of the day I still love it!
  4. Im working on the Boss 429 Kit now, looking good!
  5. Its funny I see these close up pictures of detailed engines and such and I get to my bench sit down and look at how small these parts really are. Great work I love the photoetch chains thats gotta take some patiences!
  6. I found one on Ebay for $5 with free shipping link below http://www.ebay.com/itm/20pc-61-80-Micro-Drill-Index-Metal-Box-/150584894293?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230f8f2355
  7. Just picked up some basic supplies today, Elmers white glue and some 1 mintue epoxy both for my first resin engine!
  8. In the process of that right now, just discovered thats the only thing the MPC El Camino is good for!
  9. If you don't mind me asking what size is that half round?
  10. Same as RHS for mine and I had a he'll of a time with the front bumper, if I had to rebuild it I'd use a better detailed engine as well. Final fit of every thing is a pain too I had file the chassis on several places for it to snap togthere. I'd wished I'd pickuped the Revell kit.
  11. been doing some work on the chassis waiting on my slicks to come in from ehobbies. Kind of abandoning the whole pro mod idea and just having fun with it and not worrying about accuracy.
  12. Any possibility of casting thy body? I'd buy one!
  13. Don't take this the wrong way but it looks terrible!
  14. Great looking work area! Is that steering wheel out of a kit or a custom piece?
  15. I have very fond memories of watching American Hotrod every week with grandpa when I was in my early and late teens (about to turn 21 lol). I love this build already and I'll keep track of it!
  16. Ive been using rattle cans till I can afford a decent airbrush set. Its testors spray enamels and krylon gray primer. And I have my own workspace/man cave Just picked up a few odds and ends at my LHS too, sanding sticks, thinner, testors lacquer (Fiery Orange), and a new kit. Revell 70' Mustang Boss 429 3n1 kit.
  17. Thank you sir that was exactly what I was looking for!
  18. Starting a new project and my first kitbash, using a 69 GTO chassis and the V8 it came with and adding a few engine pieces from the 55 chevy. Here's a littl teaser will have more up tonight
  19. If you don't mind me asking what color is that? I assume it's a testors rattle can.
  20. The Interior gave me some trouble, other than that it's a good kit
  21. Just got it decaled tonight! Be harsh I want to improve! Click the pictures for a larger view.
  22. Hey guys I'm trying to figure out what size brass tube I would use to fabricate a scratch roll cage and sandrail frame I tried to use scalebot but keep getting weird measurements. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  23. I don't think this guy gets it this is a model forum not for real cars..... O wait that is a model! This is amazing!
  24. Thanks man I just picked it up and noticed the front bumper separated from the body on the right side! It was so frustating getting it togthere it can wait!
