  1. Most likely not, I dont waste my time with bidding anymore, 9 out 10 times, the item I want sells more then what I can get it else where, its rare that I bid anymore, to many idiots, and shill bidding to deal with. Why on earth do these people spend 7 days driving up the cost for the item that they wanted to get cheap, makes zero sense , I bet I could sell my ocean front property here in AZ to them.
  2. And a little bit of progress has been, up the first, the brakes and the chassis getting little bit more done to it and started painting the interior
  3. And some primer shots , and working on removing the mold lines, which are not that bad, also deepened the panel lines
  4. I am sure you are waiting to see what shade of purple I am going with, well here it is, I am also going to be using the primer as well, thought I would give it a try And started work on lowering the ride height , up first was the front, cut down the attachment point and in the rear and cut down the springs and removed a little bit off the top of the axle , just a tad bit to much as I cut through and now the new ride height, I wanted to go just a tad bit lower in the front, but that would mean having to break out the dremel and grinding down the under side of the wheel well, but there is not a lot of plastic that can be removed without going through
  5. I think I am ready to call this one finished, will get the finished photo's taken soon
  6. Gee, I wonder who you could be talking about
  7. Gab, Get a can of Mr Hobby Resin Primer, Hobby Depot sells it
  8. Anything is better then completely blank
  9. Take a look at the pic of the tires and tell me what you see ?
  10. Having to put my money where my mouth is, yeah, that bit me in the read end
  11. I know what happened but I am not sure its my place to share it , it was personal matters, I will say that I believe he moved out west, and last I heard on him he was doing ok. If Kevin aka Magnum and I forget the rest of his user name, if he is still around here, it might know whats going on with him, they are friends, but I havent seen Kevin post here is some time.
  12. That sums it up And you have a valid point
  13. After getting some paint, finally got the doors repainted and finished Here you see the metal prop rods for the doors and door installed and in the closed position, I have to say, the fit of the doors when closed is pretty bad, more on the drivers side, now I am not sure if its a result of the builder, and its too late to try and find a way to fix it
  14. If my numbers are right, 3000 sets were done, 2000 sets went to Canada, and 1000 sets came here
  15. Not trying to say that Mercury Woody is a bad kit, I hear its a really good kit, but with that said, I see what you said as this, if you dont have the budget to do it 100% correctly, then why do it at all?, the general masses that Revell is trying to sell to might not have a kit stash to parts raid from, or desire to spend the money on getting a correct engine to put in the kit, just my 1.5 cents worth and this was not intended to be another Revell bashing post, this applies to all kit manufacturers as well
  16. On the topic of the body color, I think I am going in different diretion, more to come on that later, up first, a little more work on the engine, after looking at the pic, I see I need to touch up the valve covers in the holes and a few other spots , I used metalizer gun metal instead of a black , and I used Tamiya Brilliant Blue, so far, no issues with the build
  17. Getting started on this as well, its Revells recent issue of the 2012 BMW M3 DTM kit
  18. I think I am going to use a Model Master Lacquer shade I have on hand
  19. Finally made it to bench, body color I think its going to be orange , up first, work on the engine And a quick mock up to see the ride height, and it looks like its going to need to be lowered a little bit
  20. Thats why I did a trade with my buddy, he got the Dodge Ram, I got the Nissan Maxima, I did not really have a need for a truck, he has a need for a truck, I did not want to have to pay more just to say I own a truck.
  21. Just as an FYI, I am going to start working on the kit , and will get a WIP started for it soon
  22. So you be cool to own a truck
  23. Not true, the "IROC Series" were all the same make of car, and all used the same engine, the bodys of Toyota, Chevy,Ford are different, Ford has a Ford engine, Chevy as a GM engine,Toyota has a Toyota engine , sure, the chassis are the same, while I agree, in a lot area's, its getting close to the IROC series, but its not as close as you are claiming
  24. Brandon, One release date is showing this month for the F350
