  2. plus $15 shipping
  3. Maybe for those builders that is their best , and that is what they have to compete with, and maybe they are hoping that one year, it might pay off . Now, I am pretty sure that all the model contest's have rules in place that say once it has one, its not welcome back for competition, heck, even on the club level those rules are in place

  6. My mistake, when I said $7 I meant after the 40%, its $10.99 , after tax , I pay $7 and change
  7. Andrew, the key is from buying on Ebay is looking at the seller rating, as a rule, I dont buy from seller with a rating under 95% , and one more thing to remember, Ebay and Paypal 99% of the time always rule in the favor of the buyer, you really dont have anything to worry about, just do some home work on the buyer, read the feed back, look at the ratings.
  8. No, the only Tamiya products they sell for the time being is Tamiya primer, the big can, Fine white, and regular gray, but you can beat the price using a coupon, $7
  9. They do not track people using their coupons, you do not have to give them any personal info when you use them, and or what you buying with it.
  10. Is that what your LHS is going to sell it for? $70?
  11. If people stopped building models, the model companys would not be in business still
  12. Is the price that Mega Hobby selling the kit for high?, you bet it is, even with this being a subject that I want to build, and want to support with the hope that we will see a dually version down the road, or other variants, I am still not wanting to pay the US marked up price, I will find places that offer it cheaper to purchase it from. Now, on the subject is the kit as a product worth the US mark up price, well, we wont know tell we have it in our hands, but from what people have said have built or have an idea about Meng kits, its should be well worth the $70 US price for it. I guess what I am saying is I am a cheapbutt and like to get the best deals on kits that I want
  13. Well, his opinion is pretty much not even close to being fact, I am sure he is basing his opinion of the sales of model kits from his store, I am guessing that the store is not located in area that has a lot of model builders in it.
  14. I wasnt really planning on it, just curious if its something I have missed, or the stores here dont stock it
  15. I did not know HL sold foil, what isle can it be found at?, is it with the model's and supplies ?
  16. I have it, never used it, but yes its safe You can get a older version of photoshop for free as well Gimp is another that might work , its free
  17. Glad to see this thread back open, I just want to say one thing Casey, and this is not going against what you are saying, but the cost's of kits ,is or can be a big deal, and is alway going to be a part the consideration when buying one. Thats all I had to say, I think at this point, its a wait and see if the kit is released on the 17th of this month that Chinese hobby store has listed , or if its going to be April/May that Megahobby has listed
  18. I like the idea of the matte on matte
  19. If you ask nicely , I will get started on it a week or so, I need to figured what color I want for the body, which I am leaning towards the Got To Have It Green
  20. Brett, yes , you are correct, it was apart of the Auto Show back in January, they were giving out the 2015 Mustangs, well the lady that contacted me said I could chose a kit from the catalog, since I was already planning on getting this one, I asked, she yes, but I would have to wait.
