  2. If that was 1/24th, I would be all over it, I would love to build that German made civilian passenger car
  3. Thank you guys Yes, sir, you counted 55, and now that I am thinking about, I left out this one
  4. I have can of the 1500, oh wow, that stuff is as smooth as a babys rear end, try, I am pretty sure you will like it , I have not yet tired it through the Air Brush yet, but one of the LHS stocks Mr Hobby products and do have Mr Surfacer in the bottles, I am going to have pick one up and give it a try What PSI do you shoot it at?
  5. Yes, well in my case, some of these could of been builder error, but I had issues with the cab roof, had to get a replacement one, I had fit issues with it, also, the cab mounts, I had trouble getting the to fit in the holes on the cab floor, it did not sit level for me, so watch out there too. I think the side fairings stick out too far, so I ended trimming the piece that they attach to up front, looking at reference pics, they should line up with the tires, and out of box, that stick out past the tires. Do as much test fitting as possible, other then that, no other issues, I am having hood fit issues and it not fitting tight up against the cab, but I think that is because I adjusted the height of the front cab mounts , like I side, the issues I had could of all been user error
  6. Thank you
  7. Look good Paul, great color choice
  8. I see a lot of new releases, maybe Revell is not doing that many, but there a alot of other model company's releasing new kits , but we live in 2013, and with the price's Revell is asking for their kits, little mistake like the one my friend James pointed out should not be happening, I mean, they mess up something that they have been getting right for how long now?. Sure its a small mistake, but its the fact that its happening, that is the point some of people that are replying in this thread are trying to make. Some people seem to think that we should let these types of mistakes slide, that Revell is doing us a favor by tooling up new kits, but here is the truth, Revell is not "our" friend, they are a business, they care about the bottom line, and you as the consumer should care about the product you are buying, and Revell releasing a kit with parts that are wrong that they have been getting right for what?, three decades now?, that is a problem, they really seem to not care about the products they are releasing, and that is what some of us have issues with . Sure, a 7 point distributor cap may go unnoticed by a lot of people, heck, I didnt notice it tell it was pointed out to me, and will it effect the way the kit is built?, of course not, and its something that can be dealt with easily, but whats next, square tires ?
  9. Here is my 2013 build video
  10. Getting closer to having the ProStar finished, well enough to make it in time for the BO that I am taking part in And here you can see what the chrome is going to look like And almost done front bumper on here are the decals that are going on the doors And this is it, the final pic for the truck here, I just have a few small things to do
  11. I sort of hope Round2 continues with the reissue's, as there are a lot of kits that I missed out on , and would love a chance to get them at not so high Ebay prices's.
  12. I know what I am going to be doing, me thinks I need to make new General Lee model too
  13. I know a few people that saved the pics , but not sure if they are going to be re posted
  14. We should just be thankful that Revell is still in business and making kits for us
  15. Sometimes , they could also be a modified reissue, fixing issues with the kit, trying to make it better from the original tooling
  16. And the chrome vinyl I order came today, this is for the trailer , thats 24 inch's long, I paid $7 total with shipping, its 3mils thick, so not good from trim, but perfect for what I need, like flat objects , or simple curves, its has a adhesive backing just like BMF I am using this for the front of the trailer/generator compartment, and the rear door area
  17. This build did not die, got set back with having to paint and repaint the cab four times, so let me catch up with what I have done, which is not really , I also had to get a replacement part for the cab. Working on the rear part of the trailer and the rear doors for the lower level, I need to re cut the doors, they will be movable and will side in behind the panel you see on each side And some work done on the upper level and some mock ups with the truck I didnt have to repaint the hood this last time, so I got the headlights and grill installed and the cab
  18. Hey Bernie, the only current source is diecast bodys, one place you can find them is here , other then diecast, no one is doing any in resin right this moment http://www.thesundayhauler.com/store/busch_series_diecast.html
  19. I thought about it , that is a vinal, its a little bit thicker then BMF, so its not for using on trim, its more for flat surface's, or simple curves
  20. I dont get it either, why post a thread about something you cant talk about
  21. intell Aoshima announces the release date, this is a subjective release date
