  3. Hang in there, if the current date is correct, only week to go
  4. I remember getting the Hobby Heaven catalog, and going through it with a highlighter and highlighting all the kits that I wanted, now, I was in my teens, so it was just me day dreaming if you will, but I always enjoyed that
  5. Great start Paul, love the color choice
  6. I can think of one thing that involves licensing for something automotive , that Ed said that if they could get it done, would do, so maybe that is the hold up.
  7. I would say my reply was more tongue in cheek if you will, but you never know, do I believe that is the reason?, of course not. I used ignorant as an example, I was not judging anyone, or saying my opinion is , I was saying that could be a reason why Revell may want to fly under the radar to avoid black lash from people because so and so subject is not being kitted, or rants But Revell use's FaceBook to announce their upcoming kits, they use it for marketing, if it wasnt for FaceBook, I dont think we would hear from Revell at all, we cant pretend that FaceBook does not exist, and that Revell does not use it, because they do But you just told me I couldn't do that
  8. That is good news, and I will leave it at that
  9. I am sure what I am going to say is going to be took as bashing Revell, which is not, but maybe , Revell knows that what they have planned for 2014 is going to be some what disappointing, so by them pushing back the reveal dates, they can reveal their 2014 kits under the radar if you will, no matter what Revell does, the ignorant people will blow up their FaceBook page and bash tell the cows come home. Again, just a random thought, do I think it holds any merit, nope, but you never know
  10. Where was that stated at? Is Revell just skipping the 2014 year ?
  11. This very same topic with the very same rendering can found here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=80264
  12. Yes, the bigger end goes into the wheel, and the smaller end is what goes through the brakes and into the polycap
  13. We could build the Yugo from "Dragnet"
  14. ^ Edit, laughing at the pic of the Ford Probe posted on the first page
  15. The lack of .30 thickness Evergreen plain sheet plastic in my city
  16. But for us to be able to handle said truth, we must first know that it is
  17. Mike stated that base on sales, if they are good for the this one then they will do the Ford next, and then Toyota , there is no one other then the AMT COT chassis out there, but that will not work with this body, its 1/24th. COT chassis was not changed all that much, just addition of two roll bars, and the rear area of the chassis goes straight back to the rear tv panel.
  18. So you are saying that they will announce what they have to announce when they are ready to announce it sometime in the futrue?
  19. Or you guys be posting in the thread for this that was started yesterday http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=80589
  20. Romania’s answer to the Hummer prepares for the end of the world http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/romania-answer-hummer-prepares-end-world-204815032.html
  21. There is zero value for me in buying a built model, if I wanted to buy already built models, I would be a diecast collector, when buying OOP kits, if they came factory sealed, I would perfer to buy them that way, but if all the contents are all there, I will buy an open kit, now that is online, buying from shows/swaps meets are different, and no problems buying open kits.
  22. Never mind, Casey's post covered what I was going to say
