    As the tittle says, Scale Finishes is out of business for awhile, its stated on the home page of the website, no date is given as to when he will re open.

    Jordan, the engine is looking good, cant wait to see more So after three failed attempts to do the flag paint livery, I have thrown in the towel, I will one day try it again, so here it is as of now, pretty much all done, still need to decal it, and put in the side windows.

    Got a little bit more done on the Evo, I did do one clear coat, this time I used testor's one coat wet look clear, I have painted some the black trim, the rear bumper , front vents. Started work on the interior as well

    Here is Revells 427 Corba kit, did this for the Carroll Shelby CBP, OOB, did added some chassis wiring, added plug wires, paint is Model Master GTS blue lacquer, cleared with MM ultra gloss clear. I snapped the windshield in half when I was wiping in off

    Well I calling the 427 done, there are a few little things I want to do still, but overall its done, I am sure I will be back with another Shelby kit for this CBP

    I did not have any issues on the 2005 and up Revell Mustangs kits, and I use duplicolor primer, but I did how ever have issues with the Caddy Escalde kit.

    Thats what I did, well not because of bandwidth issue's , I use one for completed and WIP's, the other for random model pics, or whatever pic's and my emoticons

    If I am correct, I think it goes on a monthly cycle, so it will reset and the pics will again be visible, thats the down side to free hosting sites, theres always a catch

    Rob, I take it you get the Velocity channel?, is it a part of the HD package?, I ask because I have looked for it, even put in the channel number, even looked at all channels Directv offers and my guide does not show it

    Yes I agree, this thread should be move to the truck section, I think a lot more people will see it, and I know a lot of the truck guys will really like this one.

    I know Nick, I wasnt going against what you were saying, I seem to recall for some reason seeing a another car thread that was daily driver, but couldn't find it, hmm, I must be losing my mind

    Well there are a handful of threads for what we drive, I think one of them is or was titled daily driver , not 100% sure

    Paul, the chassis looks great, love the detail work you did on it, I can see what you mean about the decals.

    Didnt get a lot done today on the a Evo, but I did get the brakes done and the rear suspension/axle

    I forgot about that, but here is the overnight TV rating, 4.1, down 4.8% from the 4.3 overnight the race drew in 2011. Last year's race ended up with a 4.0 final rating. As for the Coke 600, what I am reading is it was 4.1-3.9, the only info I can find is hourly numbers, not an overall.

    Rob, how was the attendance?, I missed the race, and the only replays I have seen they never really showed the grandstands, I never heard mention of the figures

    You did a great job, very nice, I like the carbon on the hood and wing. What blue did you use?

    I like the colors you suggested, I do have some gun metal on hand, I think there is enough left in the can for the wheels, and I just picked up a jar of testor graphite metallic , will have see what it looks like.

    I went and picked up a can of the testor one coat wet look clear, and added one more coat to the Evo. Not sure what I want to do with the wheels, here is how they come, they are shiny, the pic does not show it very well, but I am thing of sparying the wheels with a flat black , what do you think ?
