  1. Dirk, you great job on the 2+2 , I think the eleanor use's the AMT gt 350
  2. Dirk, I am only going to use one of them one, I got them from Greg thats on here, one of the bodys has a few issues so he gave it to me with the one that has no isses on it. You are right what its going to be, I am not sure on the donar kit needed, but I sent a PM to someone that does know that answer.
  3. That is a great looking MSP crusier, you did a great job
  4. G, I like what you are doing so far,
  5. Some of these sellers think if they put pro in the title of the build it gives them a reason to sell for more.
  6. Time to look up thrift stores , and see if they sell models here
  7. That interior looks great, good job, Here is my next entry in here, I will let you guess what its going to be
  8. Break that bad boy open, and lets see whats inside
  9. Thats a really nice looking desk you got there, I am going to have to start looking GL Here is what I picked up day from Greg, two eleanor bodys,
  10. I just picked up my body from Greg, I am very impressed with his work, I cant wait to get started on this project, and it was nice to sit an BS with for a few minutes as well. I will post a pic up soon
  11. Then I guess you should make sure that the kits you get have them
  12. Thanks Danno, I will try it and see if it works
  13. I think is MIA at the moment
  14. I just grabbed the first orange I saw, and thats what it happened to be  To OP there really is no right or wrong way to build a GL kit, becuase during the life of the show, the GL's were all different , as long as you get the interior a tan-ish color, the wheels , push bar, and the paint close to an orange color, it will be a correct GL build
  15. I used compition orange on my GL's
  16. Roadkill, I would add the decals but thats just me, what overall look are going for with the car? Valveasy, thats a good amount of pieces for the engine.
  17. I know this may seem like a dumb question, but always have a hard time getting the ploish out of the door lines, and panel lines, I have tired using a qtip, and that works sometimes, used the back of a #11 blade, again works sometimes. I need to remove the some dired ploish from my mustand build
  18. I have been saying to myself for awhile now, and have even thought about making that suggestion to Gregg or Harry, and while we are at it, have a Pinned Ebay thread as well
  19. If you want to take it on , go for it, I am sure I wouldnt get picked to do it anyways, the only thing is being the go between guy, talking to both sides, trying to work something out. I am not going to into details in this thread. I hope I did not offened you by saying I was interested in doing it.
  20. G, oh I am sure I can do it, I have the wire for the antenna part, just need to do a base, maybe one day, its one of those things that if get to it great , if not no biggie, I will have find me some pics now. P.S., check your phone
  21. Mike, this is opened ended, so it should be around later on in the year
  22. No worries , you have a really good tip on building nice looking speakers, and if stays in this section, it will most likely get burried
  23. I would have to figure out which base goes with which car, I have one GL that has the narrow bush bar, and one that has the wider bar, and I want to say that both of those used a different base for the antenna
  24. Ian, I have seen somewhere on the interwebs that someone made a resin base for the GL, and I cant remember where it is I saw it. I have two GL that need the CB antennas
