You have to be 21 to by spray paint in WV?, You know what I find funny is how a lot of people are blaming the government, when in reality its the taggers that caused the age restriction on spray paint. And thats what the signs here in AZ clearly state, to help fight against tagging.

The only fit issue I had and know of is the hinge location on the hood needs to be moved back or forward ( cant remember), but other then that, the only other fit issue I had with mine was the side vent windows, and the air cleaner hose's. Other then that no other problems that I can remember

No tinting the windows, but I have thought about getting some window and trying it on my builds, but haven't yet.

Nick- ok the vehicles we chose can not be newer the 85, but can we use newer engines, drive trains, and so on?, or do we have to keep everything with in the years stated

I got the same thing from what he said too Those kits will make even a very experienced modeler use some four letter words and want to smash it into pieces I will agree that I was unhappy with the instruction sheet, and hope that the same style instruction sheet is not in the prostar or the trailer kits. Sure there were some fit issues, but they really are not that bad. it really is a very nice kit.

Rob, thats what I am doing is trying to make more stock then what the kit is, other then wheels, I think it will close to being stock

We are just trying to explain to him why it happened, and I can understand his frustration, and it sucks, heck, I am in my 30's and I still get carded for things, I think I was carded last year for spray paint

Starting on the Merc now, here is the kit, basic boring RofG kit, pretty simple, my plans for this one is most likely OOB for now. and now its been primed, so I can start working on the body and get the mold lines removed

A lot of states have laws stating you have to be 18 years and older, its that way in Arizona, from what I am finding doing a search, the state you are in does not have the age law , but I could be wrong. Yes it sucks, but the store may have a policy regarding the sale to minors, maybe next time try a different cashier and see if they will sell it to you, or even maybe try and talk to the store manager. I think alot of the laws pertaining to spray paint, is try and stop graffiti, that's why the law was passed here in AZ, so if you want to get mad at anyone, get mad at the ( bad word goes here) taggers

Hey guys, doing this one in the CBP, but thought I might share in here as well. Not doing anything crazy with this one, pretty much OOB, doing the usual lowering and swapping out the kits tires and wheels with aftermarket wheels/tires. I am using tamyia blue these are wheels/tires I am going to use

Dirk and Mike- thanks guys, I am going to get it clear coated today, then after that I will start polishing it, for some reason I can not get the tamyia paint as smooth as MM lacquer when applying it. Here is a look and the new ride height

The only difference from the bullitt kit and the GT500 kits is the body, wheels, and engine, I want to say that the GT500 has a set of front brakes that are a little bit different then the bulitt kit .

Decided to get back work on this one, still deciding on a body color, but its now sitting on all four, the underside is ugly, but its getting the job done. I think I may repaint the wheels . The interior work is not my best work, I used testor flocking powder and thats a mistake I wont make again
