Hey guys, I havent been on here much the last few days, me and the almost wife and baby have been not feeling good, pluse having things to do. I have not done alot on the 2010 Gt, I did do one more wet coat, so now its ready for the clear coats, but it got really windy and had rain so waited for it to warm a but again. I am going to pick up the GT500 KR version this week, and I am going to order the 2010 Shelby that just came out as well soon. Mike- glad to see you posted your work , nice work so far. olskool, well I would say you have kits for this build now I want to make sure the list of who is doing what is up to date, so let me know if its correct

Just picked this up, and like I need another build right now , any ways I am going to do this one stock for the most part, but I am not sure yet. I am going to finish some other builds before I start this so I have some time to think what I want to do with it.

I think you should be able to inter change with very little work needed. Let me know if are going to join and I will put you down on the list. Olskoolrodder and Rick I will update the list, if I missed anyone else let me know.

The wheels I am going to use came today, I am going to use a set of mopar steel wheels, I got the from scenes unlimited , very nice set of resin wheels

Got some work done on the 2010, I got a good part of the chassis painted( going by pics from the build review on the 1/16th one). I have to say that this one of my better paint jobs, I took the pic just after I finished painting it. There are a few spots that I need to sand and re spray, I have only put down one wet coat so far.

I buy from a variety of different online stores and ebay, it just depends on what I need and who has it for the best price and does not charge an arm and leg for shipping.

Hello guys, well for some reason lately I have been having a hard time deciding on colors for my builds, so I figure why not get some input So I trying to figure what color to paint my 69 GTX, here are the colors I am thinking about, these are colors that I have already. Tamiya - metallic green TS-20 Tamiya- gunmetal TS-38 ( think ateam van shade) or a sun yellow.

Here is my Gt500, this is from mustang CB thread I started, I will say that this was not one of my better builds, I messed this one up myself, I used MM Go Mango for the paint, then cleared it, then I wet sanded and polished it. I did end up sanding down to the primer in some spots. I used the black stripes decals from the 2010 mustang, and I could not get the roof part to lay down. I also used wire mesh from a Ferrari kit for the hood scoops . Wheels/tires are a fujimi set, the rear spoiler is from lindberg charger kits. Enough of me babbling on, here are the pics.

Here is the GT500, I have more pics posted of it in under glass . Now I can start the 2010 mustang, here a few pics, I have the paint picked out already, I am going to use MM lacquer royal blue pearl. I also did work on the wheels to get them to fit in to the tires I bought for it.

What scale is it?, I am going to have to take a trip to target

Those are great pics, and it help figure out the spark plugs are inside the valve covers, I think you have to remove the aluminum cover to get them.

I have been looking for info on the current mustang's spark plug wiring , but I can not find any good pics that show where the spark plugs and the plug wires. I need some help with this, I am trying to do the plug wires on the 07 gt 500, and then I will on the 2010 mustang.

Have not got a lot done, but I did get the trunk hinged, I also covered up the gas tank opening as well, so now that its all done I can move on to getting it painted, just need to decided on a color. I am going with a set mopar steelies on this build , just need to order them soon.

Got some more , the chassis is almost complete, got the tires and wheels fitted, I had to trim some off the sides of the rear axle to get the tires in the wheel well more. Its a close fit, any more I would have to trim the inside of the wheel well. I swapped out the front brakes for a bigger set, as the kit ones look way to small with this wheel set. I painted the wheels black, but I need to give them another coat as I chip some of the paint off. The body is painted and I will say that it is not one of my better paint jobs, I need to clear it still then I am going to wet sand and polish it, maybe I can get it to look better.

Well here is a little update, since I was waiting for the tire and wheels to get here from japan, I really did not want to do a lot work on the chassis in-tell the tires/wheels got here so I would know what the fit would be, and if I there would be any fit issues. The tires and wheels are here and just doing a real quick mock up show that there wont be in fit issues, and I wont have to trim the inside wheel wells . The intereior and chassis is painted, I am not finished painting the chassis yet, but I am not happy with how either look so far, been having a bit of bad time with painting lately .
