Well I am now on the home stretch to getting all the bandit cars done, although I still need to get the decals for the first one, and I will have to for this as well. I pick up this kit on evilbay, its an old monogram T/A turbo kit, it was the only one I could find that was a turbo that wasn't expensive . Of course this one is molded in all in red, I have already primed everything so far. Body primed, still have some body work to do, the body is not in the right shape , I do not think its warped but the left a and b pillars look a little a taller then right side

Well I have to admit I know nothing about the car to be honest, a few years before my time. What is the correct engine?, is there a kit that has the correct engine I could use in it

Looks like 2012 will be the year of the reissue , the only kit that I want and will get if I dont get it sooner on evil bay is ecto 1, it was one of my first kits I remember building.

Nick, its funny you brought up the fish, I did think about trying to find a fish for it, I think it was a shark. I know there has to be one out there that would be work

Here is one the kits I picked up at the swap meet I went to a few weeks ago, I will say that this was a very basic kit, and it was looking pretty good intell I put a coat of future and it crack all over , if look at the hood you can see it. Paint is krylon sun yellow over dupicolor primers So I am not sure if I want to take it a part and strip the body and start over or just leave it.

Well here it is, the paint job didnt come out as smooth as I wanted, overall its not a perfect build and there are a lot of things that I should of done. I made a new windshield to replace the tinted one that came with the kit.

Yes I got the AMT issue of it, I did have the hobby heaven one back in 90's when I was a teen.

Well getting close to finishing this up, I am ready to put it all together, but I still need to make a windshield first, since this kit had the tinted windows with it including the windshield . And I need to get the valve covers painted and put on the engine

I would love to see a new modern NASCAR style transporter in kit form, it would save me a lot of work of having to scratch build one , err three . I love them NASCAR Featherlite trailers Or any modern trailer would be nice, but another newer truck kit would be nice as well, but what would be really nice is we got options with the kit to build it different ways.

I have got the body painted, I still need to clear it. Painted the interior, not sure if I am happy with, I still need to paint the dash, but I having a hard time finding good interior pics to use a reference . Painted the engine block as well

Well here is where I am at with this build, I still havent got around to getting the decals yet, and I need to finish up detailing the engine compartment. I will say this build I have bad luck with, Its not very good to be honest. I could of done a lot better with it.
