Here are all the 2011 COT builds I have done this year, these are past revell nascar kits that I have redone to make a COT version. I did redo the chassis's as well to make them current COT style. They are not perfect, but close enough to be s shelf model for me. I will say one thing, I have gone thru a boat load of putty doing these

For some reason I always liked the 1:1 car, maybe because it was used in a lot of TV shows I liked that used them. It was a POS of a car though

You know you can decals for it at two different places, I am looking forward to seeing a dodge conversion out of the chevy cot I have alot more COT conversions I have done this year, I can post them if you guys want to see them?

Here is a Dodge Stealth from the TV movies called Bandit from 1994, the made for TV movies were from Hal Needham, who brought us the Smokey and the bandit movies. Well instead of using a black trans am/firebird, a black stealth was used. I used AMT's dodge stealth kit, built OOB, had issue's with the paint so the paint job is ######, but since its just a self model its not a big deal.

I did several mist coats and then a few wet coats, but it etch the entire body

Is dupicolor color match paint safe on plastic?, I am asking this because I pick up a can today and it ruined one body, and a test hood. I used dupicolor primer . I am not sure how to explain what happened but I think crazing or etching maybe is the term. And I have one more question, before I bought the dupicolor, I tried MM black enamel, is MM enamel the same that's is in the testor cans?, I was not happy with it .

Gregg, I happy you are going to let us help out, what is your ebay seller name? Its great having a site free of adds, but money is what makes the world go around. For me it wont be a problem I have a add blocker that works great on forum sites . I am going to donate a $ 1 in the next few days for you.

I have a Hp printer that I got a wally world to, and it prints really nice as well, but the testor decal paper really isnt that good, I would highly recommend using BMF decal paper line. http://www.bare-metal.com/model-decals.html

I get packages fast with USPS, Bought a couple of kits of eaby, seller sent on Thursday, I had them on Saturday, and the kits were shipped from I Illinois I believe. Now on to regular mail, I am waiting on decal order from Canada( not from jbot) and they have to be mailed from Canada to the retailer then to me. So I am hoping it doesn't take that long

My plans are not to get one, I know its a very nice kit, but the I have no desire of cars that were made almost 30 years before I was born. Sure there are cars from that era that I would build, but the hudson isnt one of them. I know I will never understand the love affair with it. But from a hobby stand point, Its a long over due subject to be made into kit form.

Hey guys, here is my one my newest builds I have started, like most everyone else I love smokey and the bandit movies. But for some reason I never got around to building any of the trans am. Well last week I decided I wanted to build bandits trans am, and that snowballed into me wanting to build all three trans am for the three movies. I have found the kit to use for the third movie, going to use a old mpc 82 firebird, now I just need to find a 79/80 trans am So here is the build for the 77 trans am from part one. body is primed, still need to some body work I am not sure if I am happy with the interior, I may redo it.

Here my lastest builds, just arrived today. I picked up a Revell 78 trans am, and the 70 roadrunner kits. Well I am pretty sure you guys can figure out what I am going to do with the trans am, but as for the roadrunner kit, I havent figured out what I am going to do with it yet. Back to the trans am, for some reason I have this itch to do builds of all the trans ams that were used.

That really looks good, and is really making me want to get another lonestar kit, I already have an idea for the color I want to do it in.

Gregg, Just trying to come up with a way to say thanks for everything, and to see if people want to help out, i am sure you are right and it wont work, but maybe, just maybe, it might, but it will take the members on here remembering why we are all here, because we love models. I think that's has been lost for awhile around here, you know the whole point of this hobby.

That was kind of the idea, to say thank you, and everyone has a $1 they can donate, it does not matter how you donate. Sorry to take your idea from you . And I think closing the forum down for a week would get the message across, but why should the ones that dont cause trouble have to be punished , its not fair to us.

Right I know paypal takes there fees, but if enough people donate a $1, there should be enough to cover the cost, I asked Gregg how much it cost for the chat room, I am not going to post it with out his permission or I will let him or a Mod post that info.

Like the title says, we should all donate one dollar to Gregg, why?, as a way to say thanks for providing us with this great forum and putting up with us . In all seriousness, if say 50 of us donate a $1, well should get the chat back, I dont really care if the chat room is here, but sometimes I do use it, and it would be nice to have it back. I know there are the members that do use it all the time and I am sure you guys would like to have it back. What do you guys think, you on broad for donating one dollar?
