I had the chance to visit the Motor City Madness 13 contest and toy show in Detroit over the weekend and took some model photos. The event is put on by the Detroit Area Auto Modelers (DAAM). I hadn't been to a DAAM show before, but 13 seemed to be well-attended, had a lot of vendors, and I had a great time. The photos can be found here. Hope you enjoy my pics, and comments are welcome!

Here's the finished versions of my Chilly / Chili Willy's themed '40s pickups. I just wanted to do some quick fun builds, and thought I'd go with a Hot / Cold theme. The hot Chili Willy's thread can be found here. I used White Lightning and Star Spangled Blue Testors lacquer for the paint, with hand painted graphics. The parts are mostly stock, but I added some different wheels from my parts box. Comments welcome! Here's more of the Chilly Willy's:
