I finally finished my surfboard for the Tiki Bird model I did earlier in the year. I used 2 halves of a Monogram garbage truck kit and glued the pieces together. The surfboard had to be smoothed, sanded, and had scratchbuilt fins added. The graphics and wood grain is handpainted. Comments welcome!

that's a beauty - I should build the one I have

Here are some photos of a recent build. The '68 Chrysler uses a Jimmy Flintstone resin body; AMT Allison Thunderland chassis, engine, and wheels; and tires from my parts box. I also sprayed lace panels through drawer liner material. I reworked the chassis extensively and scratchbuilt the air intake. The windows are tinted acetate. The album can be found here.
