  1. I do have a 300 MM Metzeler conversion for sale. It includes a wide fender and parts to widen the frame and space the primary drive out far enough to clear the tire. It goes for $24.95 plus $5.00 shipping. I have some on Ebay right now. They are not on the website yet. I do sell direct-contact me at modelmartin@comcast.net
  2. It has Squirrels on steroids in the dual treadmills under the hood!!
  3. Can Jairus be happy? I dunno about that.
  4. You will never catch Harry or George!
  5. You guys are terrible! Now you are making me want to pull my Aerosedan out of the stash and start building it! I can't. I have too many projects going and I have to focus! Stop it now!
  6. I say model. Where did the poll go?
  7. Be strong, Man! You will get over the disappointment! And what's with this trophy hound stuff? So Lee/Emil... What were you doing earlier today? HMMM! You arouse my suspicion. Were you punking us?
  8. Very cool! It's a unique subject and very well done. I like it.
  9. Sorry, David! You are not even in the same zipcode to get nominated for the DB HOF. You are actually one of the few, the proud, the DB repellent! You are one of the informal band of brothers who make the forum safe for the rest of us by doing battle with douchebags. Keep on fighting the good fight, man! I am so proud.
  10. Actually, they don't get it. They end up bitter and lonely.
  11. That looks like great start. I remember that car. He was real low budget and showed up with a ramp truck and 2 extra pistons when all the other "names" had dualies, Chapparral trailers and several extra "soldiers" to do battle with. Looking forward to seeing this one done - very cool!
  12. Totally agree! It's like the Model Car Militia!
  13. I never had one but a guy I knew back in about '78 in college was from New Mexico. His "handle" was Albuquerque Turkey!
  14. Speaking strictly for myself, I don't look in the swap section because I have too many models already. Even If I did I don't have that particular kit to trade off. Your post was fine. If I did need something and had that kit to trade, I wouldn't have hesitated to PM you about it.
  15. Has anyone noticed how some of the touchiest people join the forum, muck around for a while and then disappear? More than a few come to mind who have caused a ruckus, called some names, slimed up the forum and then slithered away. I won't name names but I think it would be humorous to have a Douche-bag Hall of Fame!!
  16. Ditto. I barely look at Under Glass and WIP for that very reason. We need to start a Hall of Fame for Touchy Douchebags like hryh8r!
  17. Aside from trashing Mark's post featuring his very nicely done Challenger with your attack on Harry, you are a douchebag and your English sucks! Outweigh and arrogant are the words you were looking for, douche.
  18. I always thought that these kits were very well done. I wish they all were done "stock". When I started in the resin biz I based my 68 Donohue Camaro and 69 Pace car on these kits and I also made a 69 Z-28 conversion. Ugo Fadini in Italy based his legendary line of Corvettes on the AMT 1/43rd. Unfortunately 1/43rd didn't sell well. Monogram found that out with their Ultimate kits of the 289 Cobra and 67 Vette. By the way, the roof from the AMT custom vette splices onto the Monogram like it was meant to be there! I wonder if the tooling is still out there. Some have not been released since the first run.
  19. Did all of you see that the price has been dropped to $229.!!!! It is still STOOPID at that price.
  20. Cool idea! Let's see some plastic! and finish it, too!
  21. Jairus, I think Gary is made of tougher stuff than that! He published a model magazine for twenty years! He shook off a lot more garbage sent his way doing that than he ever would recieve manufacturing kits!
  22. I think the reason you don't see many built is because the vast majority of ALL model kits don't get built. I have one each of the Galaxie kits and like the subject and the kit. I would love to build them but...too many kits - too little time!!!
  23. Very Nice! Clean build, great paint, I like it. Dune buggies are very cool!
