I wanted to build something different a while back ago...so i built the LOTUS TYPE 79 "1978" Tamiya Kit No.20060 1/20 scale...and Boy that was a tricky Build..lot of challenge ...Very happy with the way it turned out....But i have yet to put the decals on so after seeing yours.....Which by the way is out Standing !!! and Completed I am going to finish it up with the decals... That's what's nice about this place come on here poke around and see some of the best of builds.....and gives the Kick start to keep going.. Very Nice Job....Like the details... Cheers...Don

Hey i was just wondering.....when one looks at a thread..and they see just how many, Views & Replies it has had....Does that counter just work for us members? Say if a Vistor (Non-member) reads the thread...does that count as a View.?.... Just Curious...That's All.... Cheers to All

When Custom Hearse posted this thread about this "Beautiful" JAG...I was so excited and just fell in love with that Car....That i ran down to my Bank and ask them for a loan...to buy This Car..... I Knew I had to have it...It was Love at first sight....Although i knew better....For that Love at first sight has cost me alot in the Past Tee he... But I had to have this car.....Went to the Bank.....and Guess What......>>> They Laughed me out of the Bank.... Bummer Huh? Swap meets aka Flea Markets...is the best place to go. I get up at 5:00 am every Sat / Sun just to go the the Market (yep i am a bargin hunter) anyway i know a lot of the sellers, and they save the Model kits that they come by for Me....Now I never pay a lot.for a Model Kit...take a sealed little Revell Kit and me will pay only $5.00 maybe $7.00 depends on the subject.... little ole AMT Kits...$3.00 maybe $5.00.... Why just last weekend i came across a Aurora @ 1965 kit of a 1/25 scale FORD GT Complete ! $4.00... i have got some super Great Deals.. Back before the LHS (Riverside Hobbies) went out of business in 2011 i would buy kits and sell to them....And Boy did i do good...Always made my $$ back and would get store credit for a Good Amount.....That is why all of my Tamiya...Fujimi...Gunze Sangyo (High Tech Model) and other kits i have i have paid $0.00 I have sold the LHS store a total of 516 kits in the two years i dealt with them...Now i just need to build the 56 kits i have in my stash.. But back to the place to buy.....Get the word out...tell your friends....Neighbors.....Post on CL (Craig's list)....and Hit the yard sales..heck i even ask them if they have kits....If it seems right.. So Buy the kits when i get enough i Just post them on CL and sell them....I even have buyers that come 35 miles to buy from me...And Always...Always make Money....Keep a Get or two...and they are free to me.....and i always give the Kid Down the street a kit...Gave him one for X-Mas now he won't leave me alone... So Yes...Look and you will Find-em....I even go to Micheals and use the 50% off coupon....Buy the Kit for $12.00 and sell for $20.00 along with the lot.. This is good news.....Tamiya Pink-Primer....with TS-8 ( Italian Red ) is going to go well with my Ferrari Kits... I have read that Ferrari uses a Pink Primer on the Red Ferrari's..... Thanks for the info Jonathan... Cheers...Don

*** yes there is a way....what i have done is... Well i use Shrink Wrap Tubing...cut of a small piece for the end of the tweezers...and heat it up and will shrink to the contour of the tweezers.. This will give you a rubber grip..when holding small parts..and they won't fly off the tweezers.....plastic and metal is a slippery surface... This works good...takes up just a mute amount of space on the tweezers... Hope this help's... Cheers...Don
