  1. Very nice job Al. I have pushed myself to finish builds in a restricted amount of time but never with the outcome you have here. Sorry to hear about the MS.
  2. Thanks for all of the nice comments. I agree with you Curtis, there seems to be to much room in the fenders for those tires. Actually they were like that right from the factory. I think the front end could have been lowered some to make it look better.
  3. Congrats Adam on your find. I love the story behind you purchase and take my hat off to you for building it in honor of your friend. It's a fun kit to build.
  4. Wow, that is a huge project you have taken on there Ken. You're off to a great start. I'll be following along with this one.
  5. I have a few of these kits and the decals are ruined in 2 of them. Even this one they weren't in great shape as you can see with this picture.
  6. Hey Steve, how is the weather over in Delta. lol Nice job on the Tudor. The chopped roof came out perfect.
  7. Nothing special about this build. Right out of the box with the exception of ignition wires added. The wires are a little to thick. It really is a good kit to build with no real issues. The final fit of the body to the chassis need a few minor adjustments but that was really about it.
  8. What an awesome build Richard. I can't wait to see the finished product.
  9. The Ford Exploder (AKA Pinto) Very nice job on the paint fade. Nice clean build.
  10. You did a fantastic job on the "Devils Daughter" Tony. Your attention to small details really make it stand out. Even the BMF around the rear window has the proper joint in the middle where the chrome comes together. Very Nice!!
  11. Wow, your engine is incredible! Looking forward to seeing more of this build.
  12. I agree with the others, your dashboard is incredible. Very nice work all around.
  13. We don't have Hobby Lobby in the great white north here, but we do have Michaels who prices their kits in the same price range. I think they do it so when the 40% - 50% off coupons are used it brings the price down to a point they can still profit from. Local hobby shops are at least $10 cheaper.
  14. Wow, great job on the Mustang. I have to agree with all those who said you are a natural at model building.
  15. What if Hitler was killed during WWI. Would there have been a WWII? Would the VW Bug have been built? Would the advancement of aircraft been as fast as it was?
  16. Very nice build Matt. I have recently discovered Tamiya Mica red as well. I always thought it would be more of a metallic paint.
  17. Very nice build Ken. Everything is just awesome on that Challeger.
  18. Now I have an itch to scratch! I must have this kit. I can't tell if the engine is complete Matt. What a beautiful job you have done building this kit. Thanks Rob
  19. Has anyone bought or built the Tamiya Aston Martin DBS? Sure looks like a very nice kit.
  20. Looks like you are off to a really good start Mason. Take your time and enjoy each part of the build. I tend to look at each sub-assembly as a little model in itself. For example the engine is a model in itself. IMO Revell make some great kits and it is best to learn and make mistakes with them. Wait until you are comfortable with the basic building techniques before you start a Tamiya kit. They are very nice but also expensive. I would suggest you wash down the body of the car very well to remove mold release oils and prime it before shooting it with the Tamiya Italian red.
  21. A work of art that should be put in a museum when completed Bill. The GTX is looking great as well.
  22. Great build Paul. I really like the Tamiya Mica red paint. I'll have to give it a try.
  23. Beautiful model of a beautiful car! Very nicely done.
