  1. Nice. Second picture does not open for me tho. I am a sucker for details, but the overall look of the car has to do it for me too. Your model is really cool. I don't understand when people make all this body work and then leave the car with no inner fenders in the engine bay for example. Or when they dump a bucket of aftermarket parts on an engine and then have crappy painted trim. I've seen a couple models at shows years ago, where everyone is raving about how the whole thing is scratch build and how many hours and how many machined parts and blah, blah... And with all this and a perfect paint the thing looked like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, design wise and in real life would be undrivable.
  2. Thank you James. It definitely has some minor flaws and most people will not even pay attention to them, but I know they're there and it will for ever bug me. LOL
  3. Thank you Hector. People diss on the Rustoleum, but it can definitely produce great results if you know what you're doing.
  4. Thank you David. I tried to do my best for the time I had.
  5. Glad you like it. I would love to tool around in this also, but ourdays it's cheaper to buy a Ferrari.

    Uncurtin T

That's what I was wondering. it makes sense. I have an article about it in a Rodders Journal, but I don't remember which issue.
  7. Thank you David, The engine is pieced from engine parts of something like 5 different kits. The block and transmission came from the Rat Roaster. The valve covers came from a truck model I believe and first received BMF inserts and then were painted. When the paint dried the raised scripts were buffed through the paint. The EFI and Air filter were lifted from the Foose Caddy. The intake manifold, the ram-horn exhaust and the belated accessories all came from different kits.
  8. Thank you Phil. All the curves and corners were masked with BMF and the long lines with Tamiya masking tape.
  9. Thank you Jeff. The subtlety of the car is what grabbed me. Sometimes less is more, as they say.
  10. Thank you Bill.
  11. Thank you Steve. By my standards, this was a rather quick build. I'm a scatter-brain and usually start bunch of projects and then jump from one to another, which causes me to take tforever to finish any of them. With this one the inspiration of the real car kept me focused and finished it pretty quickly without stopping.
  12. Thanks fo the kind words, Bob. '32 Fords are my favorite Hot Rods I used to have an obsession with them at some point. LOL
  13. Thank you Bill
  14. There is a very good chance that paint codes are completely different for different markets. I mean the car model itself I don't think is sold in US.
  15. This actually looks great and it definitely exceeds what my expectations would be just looking at the box. Great job.
  16. I missed that, but after your comment I had a second look. The license plate with his avatar name is cool too.
  17. Great job on the model. The weathering looks really cool. Nasty movie tho.
  18. I'm surprising myself, but I'm going to say that's a beautiful looking cruiser Vic.
  19. Thank you for sharing this. That's some good to know info.
  20. That's a cool car. Some Holdens are really nice and I wish they were sold on the US market. Especially their Utes.
  21. Beautiful car and you definitely did it justice. I didn't even know that Lindberg had such a model. Every day something new to learn on here.

    1971 Dodge Demon

Not a fan of the 1:1 car, but there's no denying this is a beautiful color.
  23. I think, both the repainted bumper and the new emblem are big improvements over the previous look.
  24. The shifter is a really nice addition to the interior and your colors suit the car very well. You don't mention anything about the bumpers, but I have to note that your front bumper really looks metal. I love that. And being a sucker for the obscure details, My favorite is the orange paint in the trim. That's a really cool touch.
  25. Typical Mopar color. Gotta love it. I don't know what's wrong with me, but lately I've been loving pink and white on cars, which has never been the case before. ?
