Oh, noooooo... They're multiplying! '90 MUSTANG LX 5.0 - The SILVER FOX

Very monotone. Everything will be something very contrasting. Orangy kinda. With some plaid. Maybe... We'll see... Not there yet. But I have somewhat of a plan. LOL -

All I can say is that this Fox will be silver. -
As I said in my other new thread about yet another new project of yet another new Mustang, I'm battling my new Mustang addiction and so far I'm losing miserably. LOL. What else is new...? This one is coming on the heels of the my other LX 5.0 "Stickers", which I'm building as half joke, half tribute to funny moments in my family. The other car was purposefully over the top with an outrageous body kit. This project is going to be based on the same model and with a very modified version of the same 3D printed body kit. "The 21st Century Fox" will be dialed down on the aero and more of a Grand Touring custom hot rod.

As the title implies, I am facing my latest addiction - Mustangs. And so far I'm losing the battle. After few cool '70s Stangs popped up in the "Under Glass" section, I couldn't resist and finally ordered the '70 Boss 429 that I was contemplating for quite some time now. Well, it's here and I don't intend to leave it alone in its box. I have some interesting plans for this one, so stay tuned.

Thank you.

Nice. Definitely a fine vintage feel to it.

Thank you Jeremy. Appreciate the kind words.

Never been a fan of this whole style, but your model represents very well what can be seen on most cars and coffee meetings our days.

An old roommate of mine had this exact car in the same color. I helped him buy it, it was his very first car. Quite a cool machine, to be honest. The interior was a little iffy, but other than that it was definitely cool. Your model is really nicely done. Great job, David.
-
Not a big fan of the real car, but your model is absolutely beautifully executed.
-
Nice David, very, very nice. I wish Street Rodder was still around. One of the few magazines I used to by regularly.

Wow! So much cool models. I have never attempted anything like that, because I always liked shinier things. But sooner or later I will give it a try. There is a lot that can be learned on the subject on here.

Nice. What kit is this, who makes it? For some reason, I never see C5 kits at the vendor's tables at shows.
-
A rally legend. I almost bought a real one way back when.
-
I have attempted this kit a couple of times years ago, but never finished one. You did a great job on it.
-
Super clean and catchy. The redone trim definitely makes an impact.

Aaaaaand we have a green one! Looking pretty sharp! After all the '70 Mustangs I've seen on here lately, I actually pulled the trigger and ordered one from evilbay. It will be my third one this year and the third ever in my life. Thanks for the inspiration. Your model looks great.

Looking really good. I've been wanting to build a Caddy of this style but convertible. But I have no idea who would make one. I love those old land yachts.
-
It definitely looks mean. Also it looks like you have a little obsession going on.
-
As I like to say - it's all good when it ends good. And by the looks of your final result, it's definitely all good.
-
Nice. That gold is so '70s. Perfect for the car.

Very cool model. I personally think that LB has been grossly overrated and I am not a big fan of most of their cars. But the models Aoshima is putting out (and AutoArt in die cast) are definitely eye catching. Looks like you did a very good job with this one and really like the color. Looks like one fine paint job too.

Wow! This looks absolutely stunning. Looks like a real car. From color to engine detail, everything is perfect on it.

Thanks Mario. I agree, the '32 Fords are THE classic Hot Rod. And the colors on this particular one give it that vintage look in a way.
