I'm not sure of the year and don't have a pic but when I was a kid my uncle had an Oldsmobile that the faster you drove the speedometer would change color from green to orange to red the faster you went. As a kid that fascinated me to no end anybody know what Oldsmobile I'm talking about? I know it was mid to late 50's maybe early 60's

You are doing great I'd love to be your age and have a race vega like that. Best part imho is the fact your dad has been supporting your (addiction lol) the whole way. You have every right to be proud I am 36 and have raced at BIR and never pulled a perfect light. Not to mention I haven't hit 120 in a 1/4 mile but I only have raced an 87 Camaro, 70 roadrunner, 85 monte and a few other classic full body cars at show and go races. No tube chassis for me. I did get in trouble once in the roadrunner for breaking out and being faster then the safety equipment I had on the car at the time. Congrats

The big advantage of electric power is you can have 100% torque and hp instantly if I was younger and back in college I would automotive courses in alternative fuel and electric technology. Well my only claim to a movie is I grew up in BRAINERD MN which a lot of the movie Fargo is based on BUT most of the things are 100% wrong Brainerd is no where near 35w and at the time of the movie there was no arby's in brainerd there is no moose lake in the area and one of my bigger pet peevs is there is no trees in the film brainerd is full of forests and trees

James I feel your pain this past Nov-feb my mom was losing her battle with cancer and became livid with me. I was her power of attorney and because of my job I had to put her in a home but before that her mind was going she misplaced things, she was hallucinating and was blaming me. My situation didn't get as bad as yours but very easly could've. #1. Thing I suggest is get proof that way hopefully the charges can be amended. I'm pulling for you idk what your relationship was before the cancer but if it was like my mom and I with her sudden mood change. From the person she was it truly was a hard thing to watch I feel for ya and wish you the best
