There is a great tutorial in the tips and tricks on how to open up the 41 grille and make it look a 100% better

I use a sheet of simple cheap plate glass and some plained pieces of scrap wood with double sided tape to affix to the glass I would also invest in a square just to double check everything

I can't wait to watch this build it was the first model I built that I took my time on and was very proud of the results. Sadly after moving out the model is now lost in the sands of time. I did the same thing you are doing and polished the body. I didn't know about bmf at the time so I painted trim silver I can't wait to see more

welll had a small set back he got a lil to happy with the emerald green and it ran so I dunked it once and took it out to photograph now going back in the tank but he wanted to show you guys what he has done so far

I like the idea a corvette that can actually carry something diorama idea this with a bunch of 2x4s and a sheet of plywood hanging out the tailgate

Yes it worked thanks guys here is a couple more pix phone is being slow but like I said he does his own painting. Granted he sometimes takes creative license on the colors. But I think he does a great job this is model 3 for him

My friends-son picked up a monogram 70 r.r. for me to present to you. Photobucket pix coming soon at 10 yrs old he isn't much for the sanding so I don't force him. He loves painting and doing the embossing powder. He is much better at model building then I was at his age <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s414.photobucket.com/user/mnwildpunk/embed/slideshow/"></iframe> I hope that worked attach more later

Also if your doing the conversion don't forget there is a pressure difference between the two

I KNOW MY OWN CAR YA DUMMY But remembering being a young guy I didn't say anything UNTIL he went inside and I was alone with his teeny g.f. and tod her that it isn't a camaro then I was sort of floored when the girl said " I know its not a camaro its a dodge right and I thinks its got to be 50's ish". The dude irked me but the girl impressed me in fact I told her "you will make a great car guys wife someday like my wife is"
