  1. If it was me I would go to model car world and order 5904 frost blue http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/paint/gm.html. idk see if the color interchanges to rattle can. Closest I found was icy blue in testors http://www.testors.com/category/137169/Lacquer_Paints. if non of those work I would look in dupicolors catolog
  2. I was wondering has anybody tried to do a vinyl graphics wrap much like they do on 1:1 cars. I was wondering if it is a viable option for a funny car model I'm thinking of doing. It would be based off my work logo

  6. Thing is a question not a criticism but wouldn't embossing powder be to fine? I think sheepskin as having more of a texture then say carpet which you use embossing powder for. That being said I am not sure what you would use except maybe flocking that hasn't been sifted but I'd think that may be to clumpy
  7. In looking at pictures on line I see two different blues on 59 corvettes idk if both or none are factory. There is this blue http://www.iagclassics.com/CarPix/59VetteFrostBlue/ebay/59-Vette-Frost-Blue-001.jpg. its called frost blue from what I read. Second colour I found was a little bit darker but not sure if it is a true 59 color I couldn't cut the link for some reason

  22. Ouch about the volvo. I have a modeling medical disaster. I was working on a 71 duster kit using my x-acto knife when the phone rings set the knife down answer the phone while I am talking to a buddy I bump the table. Next thing my buddy hears is a scream of pain and I have the knife stuck in the flesh of my knee it wouldn't have been a huge deal if I hadn't reacted by jumping up and in doing so the knife hit the bottom of the table imbedding it further into my knee causing a trip to the ER
  23. Darn it wish I had a hobby lobby by me it sounds like
