Your creativity amazes me honestly! I have been watching a couple of your builds the thing that gets me is how easy you make it look when I know it isn't easy it is the fact your skill surpasses mine on many levels. kudos to you!!! -
Ok is it just me or other too .but all your posted pix are just a big black space

Raising ride height on Revell's '69 Charger

Ok I don't own this kit but on another kit that I had the lower part of the spindle. Was shorter then the upper so I was able to just flip it around and I got the nose up look I was after is it possible on your kit? I have also done the the same thing to lower the front when the upper is longer then the lower part. If worst comes to worse you could do something similar as in the back and make a small spacers between the frame a k member wherever you need to so you can get the higher ride hieght you need and and to the upper control arm where it meets the spindle. It may not be accurate but it will give you the look you're after -
one question how are going to keep oil in it with that big hole through the pan? all kidding aside I look forward to every post I think. You're doing a killer job and I think Dave? Deal would've admired lthe mods you're doing to his kits

Question about color sanding
mnwildpunk replied to mnwildpunk's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Working. Pretty good. So far -
Something very similar happened in the shop I work at a young guy had a very stuck bolt and using a breaker bar and a pipe extention with all his strengh he reefed on it having it slip and he bashed his head open and kbocked himself out. My buddy took some p.b. And a lil heat he removed the bolt with a normal sized 1/2" rachet the young guy was quite humiliated and quit soon after

Kurt Wilson`s: 23 T` Bucket new project 10/9/12
mnwildpunk replied to John Teresi's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Someone posted a link to this in another post I checked the link out and had to go back and see the whole build. Amazing I can't believe the detail you put into this! Like the carb heat stains on the headers, and that awesome paint job. I just wish I was 8.5" tall so I could take it for a spin -
Honestly I liked keaton's batman in the first one. With the second movie I lost interest until a friend made me watch the christen bale batman opposite liam neeson. But as far as a new actor goes as long as they stay away from val kilmer they should be ok. I saw him recently and if they did bring him back as batman they would have to let out the costume a lot! The boy doesn't miss to many meals it looks like. Or wait rory cochrane (slater from dazed and confused) would be an interesting choice lol

I have always wondered why they love to sleep in something that has sides? all my cats if it's a box laundry basket, drawers, wash basin they will crawl in it. I even found one in a kettle that my son was playing with. (insert bad chinese food joke here lol) The more confined of a fit the more they seem to like it

My uncle is building this for one of his customers at his shop and I thought wow that would make a neat model. Is there a resin caster out there that makes a COE of this era? making a crew cab I think I can handle and i'd think I have an idea for the the kit I would use for the frame and suspension

One of the first models I did when I got back into modeling has been screaming out it's main flaw everytime I look at it. It was the first time I painted anything in over 12 years and the paint on the body of it looks like the surface of the moon. It looked half way decent and fairly shiney being there was no puddles but I believe I shot each coat to thin so it wasn't able to level out? I have gotten much better since. (look at my duster in the under glass for proof) i'm not quite sure how to pose the question. I have color sanded later paint jobs with great results but idk if there is to much of a difference between the high and low spots on this one. I guess what I'm asking is if I take my time and color sand it starting with maybe a 1500 til it is smooth is it possible to make the paint look smooth? No matter how I tried I wasn't able to take a pic of it my camera isn't that sensitive sorry guys

Wasn't jim carrey the riddler once before?

at least someone found a good use for them.lol My other cat get jelious of this one because he is to fat to fit in one. In fact one day I watched him collapse the sides of the box; as he struggled to fit inside the box seams just came unglued.

slanty I can't be 100% because I don't know the him personally but I do know of george pretty well through the forum and I take his word for for it. There where a few privately owned cars and who know that may have been what he worked on. I personally have no real info on it but who knows and that is all I have to say about that

Cut stubs off of spindle and reglue at desired hieght -
Don't get me started on parts counter clerks who need to ask what size motor you have for a wheel cylinder or something completely unrelated.

With the high rearend and rear tires sticking out of the wheelwells it just screams 1987 and I love it!!! Keep up the great work
