  1. I hope this build keeps rolling I think it is a great subject and there are some cool builds
  2. Casey this is amazing work on the dart. It is super cool how much effort you put into making it look accurate. Everyone in this cpb is blowing me away with your attention to details. Super clean build and lots of hard work
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=i-dfiZ6CwjE. Very cool documentary on Chrysler turbine cars. In watching I never knew there was a 62 dart turbine and a fury turbine auto. Plus 8 generations of the turbine. I had to laugh because it talked about the fact studebaker had a non-working atomic powered concept hmmm wonder if they would of called it the Chernobyl? Lol
  4. I had a crotch rocket try to fly by me in one lane and a truck with extra wide mirrors in the other well as he tried to split the difference his jacket or something caught the truck mirror and I missed running over the guy and his bike by inches
  5. that's funny right there
  6. What irked me just now is the fact people can't tell the difference between a question and a tip/trick
  7. Man if my cat sniffed my shoes i'd have to bury a body
  8. This is why body work is an art! I'd rather work on engines in the shop 24 hour a day then do 15minutes of body work. Engines you have set limits bodywork is by touch and feel something that isn't definite
  9. Cool beans always want to build one of these engines.
  10. I like them both I can't decide which one I like more yet. Are you going run the velocity stacks on one, none or both?
  11. Ahhhhh you may of hit on something just now I realize I do put pressure down on the block. Instead I should keep minimal pressure on the block
  12. Idk about that unless I'm missing something. I will sand slowly while I can still feel an edge to the putty once the edge is gone I also have the low spot again? But I'm a cert mechanic not a body guy. My uncle Jerry tried to teach me for years on 1:1's but I never had success then either
  13. about having a set yourself?
  14. I'm trying to smooth a body. I have filled low spots with glazing putty and let dry a mininum 24 to 48 hrs but as I sand them with a block sander making sure to cover the whole low area at one time. I'm still ending up with a low spot in the same area. This is the third time I have tried to fill this area and I'm geting very frustrated what am I doing wrong?
  15. Got to love the old packard and you are doing the subject justice
  16. I think I have a set of those stude hubcaps that i'd be willing to donate if they help pm me
  17. That hole in the floor was that a short shot or did you cut it out for some reason like the notches you made for the seat?
  18. Scale model is my favorite place to hit because they have a lot of oop kits and at fair prices too. But if hub is having a month long sale I'm going to take advantage of it
  19. Not sure where to put this but hub hobby is having a month long 20% off all plastic models deal
  20. I can't agree more. A 55-57 olds would be ideal but i'd settle for a 55-57 poncho. The 57 pontiac chieftian has a special place in my heart though above all else
  21. I like it
  22. Isn't there a compliant about the mustang II front end over bumpsteer or anti-dive problems? Sorry if this is Off topic but sort of on
  23. Neato torpedo
  24. lol. Which time there was the bergus meridith episode charlie broson episode and at least two Lothers but can't remember the actor a.t .m. wait the charlie broson had two people didn't it? But this Guy's work is amazing. IMHO
