  1. There is a trick where you cut a slit in the body along the fender line then wedge in bits of plastic to push the fender out. I will look for the tutorial for ya but then just fill and smooth with which ever putty you prefer
  2. I think don't quote me on this but aren't the Gibson engines 1/24th
  3. Not sure about michigan law but in MN on classic cars if you can find a plate and year tab the same year as the car you are able to use it no problem as long as the car is over 25 years old
  4. I don't know of any but you could try and make your own out sqadron putty or bondo. This is for a hood scoop but same idea http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75186&page=1
  5. Ever since I was a kid I told my mom who loved the the 70's corvette stingray when I got rich I would buy her one sadly I am not rich and our time is running out. So I thought I would get her one in 1/24-25th scale at least. So I am looking for a snap kit or curbside I could get quickly that was decent and I could throw a mint green paint job on (her favorite car color) and give it to her before time runs out.
  6. being part of a non-profit garage we still charge a fee. But in the begining we where getting hosed badly from customers when they set up payment plans or whatever. We went to a lawyer like charlie said we had a document written up. Since doing that we have only had one incident of non payment but he refused to pay before getting his car per minnesota law I think my boss said after 90 days the title and car became ours and we are selling to another customer who car had cracked block and we selling it for a whole $154 the amount of the repairs the other guy refused to pay. Word to the wise never release things back the customer without payment unless you have a agreed upon payment plan in writing
  7. .looks like she should be on the cover of playkitty magazine lol. I don't have pix right now. But I never was a cat person I loved dogs I owned a wiener dog simon for 16 yrs best dog I ever had. but my g.f. At the time got two kittens the 24 toed cat skipper just became my best buddy and scout was a rascal until she escaped and got hit by a car. Shortly after I rescued a black cat for my own home named Mojo. I ended up replacing scout for my g.f. A pure white yoda looking cat she named maddox. I'll get pics as soon as I figure photobucket on my phone. There are some beautiful animals in this thread we are so lucky to have furry best friends are we not?

  24. I am a creature of habit as many of us are and when I log into this website there is usually one place I head to first. Car kit reviews. I like to see what is new and coming out soon reviews of kits old and new. It's a neat place to go but that is me. I want to know where you head to first when you jump on the forum?
