  1. bill you are right again. During the winter in the great north tundra things build a static charge very easily. Paint a car model or 1:1 and dust is attracted to it like moths to light
  2. Well number one each model is different so you may get away with assembling the whole body on one kit and not another but I assemble as much as possible before painting. Primer and sanding will take that average gloss model and it will make. It super shiny. Makes a model just pop. Nothing comes for free it is a bit of work and time consuming but to get a great finish it needs to be done. If you know where to look you can get a full set of sandpaper/polishing pads and wax for $25-35 bucks (not positive on that its been awhile since I bought mine.) Again primers are cheap I prefer plastikote. And yes gray for most darker colors. Light colors I tend to go with silver primer so I don't get color bleed through
  3. I have put lacquer over enamel many times I have used the wet look clear over a blue enamel paint job with amazing results. Couple years later and it still looks great

  8. I was a kid and bought AMT 57 corvette gasser. Nothing lined up or fit properly. 25 years later I still have some of the parts rattling around in my parts box

  11. I'm looking at buying the modelhaus 68 coronet and I was wondering if the separate chassis is a promo type or a full detail chassis? If not I figure the 70 bee would be a good donor
  12. If your just starting out again h.f. has an airbrush for around $20.00 that is pretty much a k.o. of the badger 200 I have had great results with it

  20. If you have a harbor freight tools near you they sell a nice compressor and a.b. set up. I got mine a few years ago and love it you could check out their online catalog too.

  24. Only can watch it at my fiance house so I am couple episodes behind but I watched it from day one I think George ramero would be proud of this sort of show well greg nicatero did the fx on land of the dead so they very loosely have a connection
