Great job. This is the Heller kit of the 24 hours of Le Mans winner, I believe. How was the kit?

I have built this kit, and I agree - one of the finest-engineered and best-fitting kits I have ever done. I am surprised how reasonably priced this kit is at many online retailers. This is a great slump-buster kits. Can't wait to see the kit sparkle in the outdoors.

Excellent!! May I suggest a bit of black paint in the tailpipes to help them look more realistic? Great job on the engine bay

Nice job on the build, but I would agree with Danno, there is something about this quite that has always looked "off"

Nice work so far Matt Bacon is absolutely correct on the hood fitment issues. I tried to use the steam method and some sanding, never quite worked out, but I did have success in sanding down the hood points. Also be aware that the flying buttresses have a VERY tight fit onto the rear window housings. Lastly, on this kit, I was thankful for how much detail was included, but thought it curious how little some of it shows (radiator completely obscured, engine bay very tight, exhaust also almost obscured by floorboard, etc.)

Great work, I love the radar detector. What did you use to color the lenses blue?

Nice job. Could I suggest using a silver sharpie to bring out the three pointed star on the rear deck? Great paint!

If this is the AMT Daytona kit, I feel your pain regarding the front nosecone. Also, the boxart on mine shows a heavily altered front end (not capable for the novice modeler) and wheels that aren't even included in the kit. I wonder what model they took a picture of, because it certainly wasn't the one in the box!!!

Awesome job on the carbon fiber, and the paint looks fantastic. It looks like an airbrush job: what did you thin the paint with?
