  1. You could use the bed from the 1996 S10 LS Sportside or the '97 F150. They are similar but the F150 bed would probably have to be narrowed.
  2. That's too bad, it would look so much better as a stepside.
  3. Are you going to modify the grille? I think the grille on the real truck is much better than the kit grille. And do you have a stepside bed for it?
  4. Nice truck, good luck with the build.
  5. If you're set on air bags, then you would need to make a compressor, not a hydraulic pump.
  6. Looks nice, too bad the only one on Ebay is $50.
  7. Thanks, seems to work well, just slows down certain pages a little when loading, but not really noticeable. I'll know for sure next time I upload something big to Photobucket.
  8. That came out great, good job.
  9. Is the "Turbonique" kit rare or something? I can't find any info on it.
  10. PB accounts are supposed to have unlimited storage and limited bandwidth. I don't know how much I have uploaded, probably around 200 mb or so. It says I have used 456 mb of bandwidth used out of 10 gb, so I'm no where near maxed out.
  11. Actually, I got the aluminum type, but I'm good at working with metal.
  12. Thanks for the help guys, I ended up going back to Menards and grabbing a roll of screen like for a screen door. I checked it out and it seems to be the right scale for this. Now I practically have a lifetime supply of it for like 5 bucks. I just wish Hobby Lobby carried 1/25 weapons, I had to settle for 1/35
  13. I started gathering parts and doing mock-ups today. I will be turning the back into a sort of covered pickup deal for extra storage. It will be powered and driven with '57 Nomad engine and suspension, slightly lifted for offroad use( and running over zombies ). It will be armed to the teeth with machine guns, rockets, and bombs. This should be fun. Mock-up: Some weapons and armor (just a small example):
  14. I have been having trouble uploading pictures to Photobucket lately. I usually upload around 6 MB at a time. When the upload starts, the speed will be at around 50 or 60 kb/sec. Then as it goes, it will slowly decrease to around 30. Usually it stays in the range of 30-40 kb/sec, but sometimes it will keep going down to zero, at which point I will get a message saying that the Shockwave Player has crashed. I know it has something to do with the stupid ad video but I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it?
  15. Thanks Randall, I'll see what I can find.
  16. I love this car, can't wait to see how it turns out.
  17. Yeah, when I start the project the Huey engine would probably be the best option. I just wanted to see what else is out there. BTW, that monster truck looks great.
  18. Hey guys I need a little help here. I'm gathering parts for the build and can't find a very important part. I see that most of you are using a mesh or screen material for the windows. I went to Hobby Lobby and Menards but nobody knew where I could find that material. Where do you guys get it from?
  19. Don't worry Ed, my posts were not directed towards you, there was some confusion among others about what I needed. Thank you all for the suggestions.
  20. As said in the previous post, I'm looking for either type as I have many projects in mind. I am looking for either a jet-type engine, or one like that used in a helicopter. I understand the differences between the two.
  21. Jeez, quit posting pictures of the real truck and show the model already.
  22. I love it! This gives me ideas
