You know, I have thought about that. I would do something like that if RC parts didn't cost so much. Or if I didn't have a million other builds right now.

This is just an OOB Revell Jeep Honcho with a few changes. It has been lifted 6" with 35" wheels and parts box rims. Also has scratch built shocks and driveshafts. On to the pictures!!!! Thanks for looking.

Have your parents use ebay to get kits. Or use Hobby Lobby's online store because they offer the 40% coupon online too. I get most of my kits from Ebay because you can get descent prices on hard to find kits if you look hard enough. Most kits will run you less than $30 including shipping.

It all has to do with the amount of detail in the model and how large the company is. Larger companies like Revell and AMT for example have cheaper kits because the companies are large and the kits are lower detail (compared to others). The Similr company is smaller and the models are more detailed so their kits cost more. A company like Tamiya is larger but their kits are more detailed than ones from Revell or AMT so their cost is in between the two.

That could work too and probably be a little better looking.

There are probably better ways to do it, but this is how I would make the headlights. First use putty (I use milliput) to make the hump for the headlight and smooth it out real nice. Then drill out the holes for the headlights. Should be pretty easy to do, just give it a shot.

That's probably the only cool Hyundai I've seen. Definitely an interesting concept.

I don't care for the negative camber stance, but otherwise it's a pretty sweet build.

I just recently got supplies from Phil's Hobby Shop on Ebay. He's a little slow to ship but has good prices. He is based out of Fort Wayne but it took a week to get to me in Pendleton. That's my only complaint so far. Also he has free shipping for purchases over $50.

Ebay is good and the shipping isn't that high. Just go to the "Toys and Hobbies" section then to Models. Search styrene rods, tubes, sheets or whatever else you need here.
