  1. 2X I placed an order with him from a pdf he sent me last week. I also asked him to include me when he mails out the new catalog this year. He's great and easy to deal with.
  2. Thank Ken. Appreciate your help and support.
  3. Here are the pics for this one here. Very difficult to put together. Lots of fitting issues. I do not recommend this older release but not sure if the newer ones are any better. I hope so because I have some resin parts to convert this to a stock version and I really want to build that option for this truck without so many cuss words coming out of my mouth. Anyways....managed to finish it before tossing it.
  4. Thanks Carl. So many fitting issue with this one. More than the others I've built. Not happy but calling it done before it gets free air travel to a destination across the room. Will post more pics when the weather cooperates.
  5. I might have the sombreros you're looking for. PM sent.
  6. I still don't think you understand the wait time for Modelhaus orders. Last time I checked their website, when they were still accepting orders about a month ago, it said 4-12 weeks. If you ordered last month, you still have at least 6 more weeks to go. I ordered some stuff middle of June and just got it on Saturday. I couldn't be happier. It's all well worth the wait. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't order enough!
  7. Shoot! I just noticed the ring around the wheels is gold in the pic. Might have to look into changing it. No wonder it looked off to me.
  8. Thanks for following along guys. This one has been moving slow due to other project but tonight I made progress. Here's a quick mock up. Currently working on the chassis. I'm curious to see yours too, Fred. This is not the easiest kit to work with.
  9. Thanks Keith, Marc and Albie. Tulio - You're too kind.
  10. Oh you're too kind. I'm not a specialist at all. Just one of my favorite pickup.
  11. Excellent build, Tulio. As always, spot on with the details.
  12. Thanks, Ken. I know what you mean though. I used to not build anything stock. Now I try building at least two at a time, making one stock and customizing the rest, this helps me personally. This is my 4th 53 and I have another one on the bench for a November contest. Will be posting that in a few weeks.
  13. Wow! Thank you so much for the responses everyone. I'm sure I'll be able to get a set together.
  14. What wheels does this truck have and where can I get some in 1/24-25 scale?
  15. Thank Ron. Appreciate it. I have to have a stock version of my builds as well.
  16. Finally found some paint for this one. It had been sitting in primer since March. I did the green farm one and the anniversary hot rod using a 40s cab. All body parts are in gold and drying. I should be able to lay some gloss tomorrow.
  17. Thank Wayne, Luis and Gary. Appreciate it.
  18. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the comments. Carl - I don't know who cast the fender. Sorry. It was in my resin parts box. Frank - the color is nocturne blue and it is metallic. The bed is balsa wood painted to look that way and Detail Master PE strips. Here's another pic. The grille is actually gloss white without a clear coat. Dan - I noticed the same thing after posting pics so I went back and am now doing a little more work on the engine bay including adding those hoses. Good catch.
  19. This one is all done. You can see a few more pics in the Completed section. Thanks for following
