Here are the pics for this one here. Very difficult to put together. Lots of fitting issues. I do not recommend this older release but not sure if the newer ones are any better. I hope so because I have some resin parts to convert this to a stock version and I really want to build that option for this truck without so many cuss words coming out of my mouth. Anyways....managed to finish it before tossing it.

ModelHaus Closing for Six Weeks
IceMan Collections replied to 59-Desoto's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I still don't think you understand the wait time for Modelhaus orders. Last time I checked their website, when they were still accepting orders about a month ago, it said 4-12 weeks. If you ordered last month, you still have at least 6 more weeks to go. I ordered some stuff middle of June and just got it on Saturday. I couldn't be happier. It's all well worth the wait. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't order enough! -
Nice!

Thanks, Ken. I know what you mean though. I used to not build anything stock. Now I try building at least two at a time, making one stock and customizing the rest, this helps me personally. This is my 4th 53 and I have another one on the bench for a November contest. Will be posting that in a few weeks.

What wheels are these?
IceMan Collections replied to IceMan Collections's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Wow! Thank you so much for the responses everyone. I'm sure I'll be able to get a set together. -
Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the comments. Carl - I don't know who cast the fender. Sorry. It was in my resin parts box. Frank - the color is nocturne blue and it is metallic. The bed is balsa wood painted to look that way and Detail Master PE strips. Here's another pic. The grille is actually gloss white without a clear coat. Dan - I noticed the same thing after posting pics so I went back and am now doing a little more work on the engine bay including adding those hoses. Good catch.

This one is all done. You can see a few more pics in the Completed section. Thanks for following

Thank you Gary. Unfortunately, I'm not sure who cast it. It was in the resin parts box. I do wish I could find a few more but, I have seen folks just slice up the fender, add thin styrene behind it to get the curve, and finish it off with kitty. Maybe some folks here can show pics of that.
