  6. Hi, as wrote in the Thread "2014 Cannonball Run CBP" here my finished Entry. My Mercedes 300 SL Roadster. Kit is from italerie (#658) started as a gluebomb with a lot layers of some different paint. Modifikations are: Engine and Trans from a Ferrari Superamerica, modified the frame and interieur to make the transaxle fit, lowered suspension, changed the tires. scratch built rollbars and brushed with alclad body modified with inlaying exhaust a la Viper and closed the convertiblesection back seats. Interieur nothing special, only belts made. Paint is "Hellelfenbein" and clearcoat out of the can, brushed racingstripe. Decals are from a Heller Ford Focus and "Goofer"-Decals(?). No wiring in the enginebay. Here a walkaround, enjoy! Thanks for your attention, comments alway welcome
  7. beautiful, beautiful,...still beautiful
  8. Thanks buddies! But here i am in the row of other fantastic builds so far.
  9. Monthly update i thought. I am just in holiday an have done all work before. I painted the interieur after a lot of sanding the body, it became his classic color - "Hellelfenbein": Next was the handpainted racestripes in blue, some decals... ...and i but all together. Engine, chassis, interieur, chassis... ...also the wheels get some paint... ...and the last was to complete all the small stuff on the body. Lights, wheel, handmade and chromed rollbars, mirrors. a look to the interieur: and a short look to the finished car: Thats it. more will come in the galeriesection. i am happy with it. not perfect, but fast enough to take the lead
  10. hmmm...some mistakes they corrected, the panellines between the rear trunk and window "still alive". Thats what i asked some pages ago about "new tool" they offered. Thanks for the closeups Billy Joe over all i think, its a fair kit for beginners and anyone, to have a cheap basic for other projects. Like me, as i am not always motivated to build a full detailed kit like the Revell Chargers i have in my stash...can think about to order one.
  11. x2 nice details (antenna, engine) *thumpsup*
  12. cool idea Felix. silly question i think: what means "Restomod" in the pictures?
  13. WOW - a w e s o m e !!!

  15. for a "horrible" kit you made a very good looking car! Like it.
  16. Wow. absolut perfect in my view. what a beauty and cleeeeeean built! ...forgot something - : the emblems on the rear fenders are "only" red. peanuts
  17. cool, cool, cool! Always nice to see, what you are doing...and always very good for insperation. a couple days ago, i saw the last update. the first update i read was your "paintingexcess" with your Logo on page two or so.... so far, as good...my intention was, to print it in high quality on a glossy photopaper. If i need such stuff, i print all on semigloss or gloss Photopaper in high quality. looks like your last update
  18. ohaaa...looks beautiful. Very nice color and wheels.
  19. Awesome and crativ...but: how will the driver get into it? saw the panellines from the doors. Cool! Joe, I think, the wheels are from a "Unimog"?
  20. Your enginedetails are awesome. Like it!
  21. Wow! Your build that kit very very cool. Awesome!
  22. i agree - your pictures are sad, your models looking fine on that, what i could see.... Please, Rick. Try to make more and better pictures from (all) your models. Perhaps with a neutral background? So we could take a better look on your work.
