  1. One year ago...nothing happened? In my view, the kit is similar to build like the Hornet. Here is my C300, finished one month ago:
  2. Born in 1973, there is only one car ever: Lamborghini Countach, presented on the Geneva Motor Show.
  3. ...just kidding...if some comments started with "All cars from xyz are ugly"...*lol*. For example Chrysler: all Mopars ugly? Dodge Challenger and Charger, Plymouth Roadrunner, Chrysler Lettercars? All Honda? Cars, that are hightech and steps forward if i look to the Germans in the 80's / 90's? NSX first all aluminium built body and what a styling... S800, S600, S2000 real "rpm-engines"... all sportscars of them are a lot of fun to drive. My first Prelude (86) i always own today and i never will sell it. Never. A L L ugly? Can't believe it... do not feel personally attacked - just my thoughts, when i read it. Ugly are definitely my three "favorites: 1st - winner: ...and Actyon 2nd: those Nissan Juke-Thing. Terrible. 3rd: the "i whised i am a offroad car but also i wish i have a fastback-for-door-body and wide, flat tires"- BMW series 5 GT Who need those cars?
  4. thru toughts... Ray, this 365 is awesome. For my taste a little bit toooo clean overall, but that doesn't matter. One wish i have: please, choose another background for your models. in my view, it will work better. it makes them more realistic and nothing in the background takes your eyes from it.
  5. wow - what a beast. great job, buddie, great job!
  6. Thanks Nick! I will start in a week, if my bench is clear Clay - your Impala looks nice in this color. About your wheels: i will choose the big ones. the engine will burn the small ones faster

  9. ...and it looks so easy...keep on going!
  10. Just found your work - amazing!!! Those Decals fits perfect on both. Looks like this kit is "out of the box". Perfect!
  11. Cool Van Lazlow. Never seen one built of them! i have some more vans in my collection. An old A-Team-Van: The "Foxy Box" without decals and with stock frontend: The "Vantom" 1st issue
  12. Wow - Steve! B e a u t i f u l !!!
  13. Nice progress here! Also like the colors Jim! Very nice. Nick, i want to count in with a second built. Not as lousie as my completed Buick (if i see your builts), i will throw this one in: I need ia little variety in my more complex models on the bench
  14. I have two different ways, to make whitewall tires. The simple way to paint whitewalls is to take a Pigment gel Ink pen... ...and a circular template. Only choose the diameter, take a round: Ready: The same way works with some kind of wheels with those puits: The second methode i use, like junkman said, is to paint the whitewalls with a paintbrush. The only things i need is my paintbrush, paint, tape and a circular template: Choose the diameter,... ...brush it... ready. Similar to this way, you also can paint a fine white wall: The different way is: First paint the rim black, lay down the circular template and choose a coin from your purse - on this above, it was a 2-Eurocent-Coin - to place in the center.

  17. I love those small engines - like your Nova! Nice detailwork.
  18. Cool lesson in history very nice builds. All of them. Like your 82 Landau. pretty nice car!
  19. So i will do - or better said, i am working on it. Thank you Harry! I've sanded the hole weathering of, new clearcoat and painted the decals lightly with mixed bodycolor like you said I think, on this way i can make it better then before, that it looks not toooo much weathered. Rust holes i will not make, thought about it. I only want the look like a barnfind in "good condition". maybe I decide after the weathering otherwise. Progresspictures will come up. Here they are after "bleaching"
  20. The two-tone paint with that silver strip looks fantastic. The colors work very very good!
  21. Cool idea on the interieur! Also good detailwork on the engine - well done!
  22. Nice collection of pictures - specially the VW's! Where can i find the link to your photoalbum?
  23. cool car. Nice re-build!
  24. Thats bad Lawrence - i hate that kind of "glueaccidents" when finishing the model. I am a expert to drop mirrors or wipers...sure on the fresh paint. Silly question : what means SVO? i read it often in conjunction with this generation of Mustang
