Well, Bri, the ROOF chop came out REAL good! I've ALWAYS thought that Monogram's Nomad roof was TOO high! Are the flairs gonna be EVEN with the body, or are they gonna be molded as they are shown? If so, why is the front of the rear flair sticking out further than the front of it? This will be VERY interesting, caz other the Project 57, I've NEVER seen a flaired 57 Chevy.Go for it Daddy-O you'll be the ONLY kid on the block with one!!!

Unless you ACTUALLY BULGE the fenders, I DON't think they'll flair properly. Tubs ARE the way to go on that particular body style. Did you ever see Popular Hot Roddings"Project 57"? It had, before they butchered it up in the last"Restyle" some OPENED UP wheel wells. They used the original contour of the wheelwell,but just made it LARGER to accomidate the size tire they were useing. It LOOKED like the stock whellwell, only ALOT larger,an just put a rolled bead on the lip, to give it a "stock" look. I DON'T think there's an EASY way to bulge the fenders.Hope this helps somehow.

Revells ORIGINAL 57 Chevy the one with the Yellow grille-less 57 on the box top. I THINK it was around 62/63 AND AMT's 32 Ford Roadster around the same period. I've ALWAYS had a soft spot for BOTH of those cars because of their models.

Guy's I spoke to Kushikimi this morning(it's his birthday) and he told me THIS is his VERY FIRST model he's built!!!! Yeesh, we're gonna hafta watch out for him, if he does this KILLER a job on his FIRST TRY!!! Even the photography is killer!!! He's DEFIINATELY gonna be someone to watch!!!

Duhhhh guys anyone REMEMBER the "Golden Rule"???? It STILL APPLIES in THIS day and age!!! Just treat OTHERS as YOU would like to be treated! But I'd NEVER say ANYTHING to someone who LOVES it! Hey, That's THEIR thing, an if it makes 'em happy, well, THAT'S what it's ALL about,ISN'T it?? To bring petty attitudes into our peace and serenity we have here is NO GOOD!!! I STILL don't post pictures, you all know the story, but that don't keep me from enjoying OTHERS hard work! If it's a GREAT build, in MY opinion, I'll tell ya's.
