Please by all means post them links! AND Steve overt Star Models has a 38 Chevy. Be warned though it IS an R&R kit, so it'll need some work,caz it WON'T fall together! But you WILL have a unique kit when done!

Terry, your just used to WELL, PROPERLY cast models! I've NEVER gotten a R&R kit that didn't need SOME kinda work to get right! He DOES have some off the wall stuff though. Heck I must have at LEAST 10 of his kits, an I hadta do ALOT of work on ALL of them to get 'em right. They ARE worth the effort though, cause if ya take your time they CAN come out REAL nice, an like you said, it IS the ONLY KIT of a Checker Marathon around! (Unless ya count the old Franklin Mint Die-Cast!)

Ben (sorry 'bout the Bart) If ya DO do(no pun intended) the Mustang, maybe you could do it in the same vein. You know, all rusted out, maybe with the top up an all tore up from the elements. Can you scratch-build the up top frame work? it wouldn't have to be EXACT caz you could cover it partly with whats left of the canvas roof. Just a suggestion, caz ANY way you do it, I'm sure it'll come out GREAT!!!

Zuk, when I asked Stump(Greg Armour) about Max's ride, he told me that it was a MODIFIED car. NOT STOCK! The ENTIRE front end is an ADD on conversion. It was put on for the movie and was a pretty popular converrsion down there. I NEVER knew they had a stock version of this car. THAT would be COOL ta have!!!

UNTIL it settles in that the "other" guy beleives in his cause so much, he's willing to KILL YOU to prove his point! Like we were told in boot, if HE WANTS to die for his cause, WE(The USMC)will GLADLY accomodate him. We ARE the GREATEST MOST POWERFUL nation this world has EVER seen! I ALWAYS thought that was an ugly car(i still do) but theirs was a funky green color,an nowhere near as nice as yours came out! GREAT color, makes ALL the difference in the world!!! THAT'S Bill Stillwagen???? I stood RIGHT NEXT to him while he was setting his models up and never knew who he was!!! My BAD for sure!!! He had at least 4/5 models there, ALL to kill for!!! Yeah,Tim, I gotta agree with ya there, it IS more of a Friendship gathering than anything else. The models are just an added plus!!! I REALLY enjoyed this years location too, it's MUCH easier to get to than the Maumee location, at least for ME it is. Definately hope to meet you next year. "31 Years of Friendship"!!!!!

Nick, it did come out great Kidd-o, BUT the vynil bump strip on the doors is the SAME color as the interior, it's NOT chrome. The only chrome on the side of the car is the rocker panel moulding strip. Other than THAT it's sure a good copy of Ol Jimmy's ride!!!Great job, you dun good!!!
