  1. Back in the day when the Pro Modeler kit came out with the incorrect body (the roof line was WAY too low) you could get the corrected directly from RevellOGram at no charge by contacting them. I got two corrected bodies for the pair of first run kits I bought when they came out
  2. Looks great. I built mine back in '84 from the Bigfoot AMT kit
  3. Thank you for the follow up info
  4. Thank you guys very much for the info and pics. The Jungle Jim Monza Funny Car is my second crack at a funny car, my first being the Grrrremlin snap kit over 40 years ago. Lots of room for detail and at minimum Mag set up is a must in the build.
  5. Follow up questions for anyone. I see from the pics above and many other pics online that HEMI's were widely used regardless of "nameplate" and body?
  6. Great thread, starting my Jungle Jim Monza Funny Car and happy to find it
  7. Mike passed away last year, 2016.
  8. Its coming along great! Life happens and build often take a very long time. By pure coincidence, my oldest started build that I work on from time to time is the VERY SAME build. LOL. I started it in 1985. Been on the burner so long that about a year or so ago I had to strip all the paint and decals and start the body over because the white had "yellowed" so bad.
  9. How did the build come out?
  10. How is the progress on this?
  11. Beautiful job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Jim Raptis Laguna S-3; matching hauler is educated guess based on numerous facts

  14. Way cool!!!
  15. He ditched the instructions. When my latest order comes in next week i'll have him bring his built trailer over when he drops my order off. I'll shoot some pics too.
  16. Yep, Ottawa. its been a few years now since they've had the boat races here. Seems to me the last one was '07.
  17. Thanks Nick, shot it at Route 66 Raceway back in'12. I was there this past weekend and took more, adding to the above video: http://youtu.be/qQ5t5V8OpNQ
  18. I'll call my friend and see if he still has the instructions from his build
  19. I called my model supplier guy; told me they are on back order but he can get a couple at aout $50.00 a piece when in; plus whatever shipping to you would be.
  20. Good deal, look forward to the continued build. This is on my list of builds I want to do.
