  1. Here is the '60 step side that I'm building.
  2. Pick a car or truck from the Lambrecht Chevrolet aution list. It can be either as it was before it went unto the field of cars or weathered and such. I am building one of the pickups that were out there, A '60 apache stepside as it would have looked when it was first parked in the field. lambrechtauctionlist.pdf
  3. Funny I used Krylon short cuts clear over Molotow Liquid Chrome, and it worked good. The air cleaner, mirror and trim were all done with Molotow, then clear coated over.
  4. 1926 Ford sedan delivery,31 Ford, 37 ford,39/40 ford. 39 chevy, 46-48 Chevy, 53/54 Chevy, 60 Chevy (quick silver/bad actor). In die cast there are more. Johnny Lightning made a die cast 57 ford sedan Delivery, and many resin casters have made some from the 40's -2000's
  5. Couldn't get to sleep last night so I worked on it almost done, Just got some finishing touches to get er done.
  6. Working on making a '55 Chevy step side a one of a kind mild custom. Grill (57 Bel air) Dagmars (57 Bel air) Dash and steering wheel (57 Bel air) Tail light's (58 Bel air) Seat's Unknown what car they are from. Undecided about what the head lights will be from ( either stock or custom made)
  7. I checked E-bay t.m. resin don't have a 70 Bonneville listed..... So I wrote him Via E-bay, He no longer cast the '70 Bonneville hardtop...
  8. As the hard top hasn't been reissued , and the price of getting one on ebay is outta reach for me. I had a '70 Impala "donate" it's roof for use on this '70 Bonneville, I know it's not 100% correct but a heck of a lot cheaper for me.
  9. I started work on DD"s '71 Dodge Charger. The paint color ( Krylon Antique Bronze) comes close to the Dodge light gold for the '71 dodge's.
  10. I just got one on clearence at Hobby Lobby, Need to know if it has any part's fit issues. Going with Krylon short cuts antique bronze Paint for the body color.
  11. the grill is a combination from the part's tree grill and tube grill from the same parts tree, Also there are a set of hubs with three bar knock off's They are either ford or GM . The bow tie on the grill came with the 55 Pickup.

  13. I think Big Lot's is following what Value City had done. Soon it will be all Furniture and appliances! Our local BL is 50% Furniture now the other 50% is devided between Grocery, electronics, lawn/garden, Home good's and makeup/fem need's.
  14. August 10,2017 U.S. 30 (Lincoln by-way) Garage sale's About 1 1/2 miles east of New 30 highway. Van Wert is the only place in the U.S where U.S 127 and Lincoln highway meet. So every august we Van Wert has the 127 Garage sales, then the 30 garage sales. Once and awhile there on the same weekend in August. U.S.127's Garage sale's was August 3,4,5. Lincoln Highway August 10.11.12. Next venue up will be the farm toy show in on October 1, 2017 from 9 am- 3 pm at the VW County fair grounds. They sometimes have models/promo's
  15. I still need the raidiator for it but otherwise done. I bought the kit as it was slightly started. The cab,bed was never painted, The Chassis was built, as were the engine and interior. I also bought a couple of bags of engines and other parts. The engine I used was a built 77-80 Camaro engine, The grill and stacks were on their parts tree, Unknown what kit they were from.
  16. From on the work bench, Here is the $1.00 '58 Ford Fairlane 500. I went with a well care for survivor look, with some paint faded but otherwise still nice looking. pictures are from before, during and after repaint /rebuild. ***NOTE The windshield was fixed after the pictures were taken.....
  17. AMT bought SMP in 1961 and for a few years produced both the SMP and AMT, Even adopting SMP"s three in one concept for the amt kit's. so In a way the 58 was a SMP made by AMT!
  18. Oh those fender skirt's well they just popped off when I was un-screwing the chassis from the Body, And the Paint just after an hour in some L.A. Awsome it was gone!
  19. I got this SMP '60 Impala that the chrome was all off the bumper's, So Molotow Liquid Chrome to the rescue!
  20. Yep I bought it for $1.00, I glad I seen it and knew what it was.
  21. I bought it at a Garage sale , It will soon be taken apart so the body can go in the paint stripper.
  22. I found this little gem at a Garage sale today, and yes that sticker is what I paid for it!
  23. Now I really want one! I wonder why Ertl Never made this as a kit, It would have been a big seller! Fire,dump,farm,box,tanker, Endless choices of work trucks!!!!
