  1. Each school operates a School carrier. These super carriers have complete towns on them as well as the school and it's tanks. All the tanks are from WWII and either have to be of that era. If a tank was in the prototype to design stage in 1945 Those tanks would also be allowed to compete. Saunders is a competing school based of american military equipment as They use every type of Sherman tank that was used in WWII where as One of the other schools use's German made tanks, (IE Tiger's Panzers, Elephants, Mause ect. There is also a russian School called Pravda Which uses JS 2's KV's Ect. Along with a british themed school that uses Maltilda's, and a Churchill....
  2. For an animated series The tanks were very well done as to how the actual tank would look like inside and out. As for the B-29 Hiroshima joke not all that funny , Besides the school's were on mega carriers. BTW I'm 50 and like Girls und Panzer. Another thing not very many war movies have correct tanks for wwII , I rember one where the germans were using Patton tanks for Tiger's.
  3. I know that the Panzer IV and the M-3 Lee are Revell- Monogram, The sherman was rescued from when my older brother moved west, But more ten likely it's a Revell kit as well. I bought the Panzer IV from Hobby Lobby recently with a 40% off coupon. Trying to find a cheaper Tiger 1, Panzer 36 (t) , An Assult II, and a ILS (JS) 2....
  4. This Bright yellow don't work on this box art, As GM didn't paint a 57 chevy this bright yellow) The actual yellow was a pale yellow.
  5. Since I really liked the one season series Girls Und Panzer. I decided to build 4 of the tanks used in the anime show. I plan on adding some others when I can. The decals were bought off ebay as it's cheaper to buy those then pay extra for a Girls und Panzer tank kits. I just finished the Prvada Girls High School's JS2 More commonly known as an IS2. Team turtles Hetzer will be next.
  6. The resin wagon non wood grain is the one I bought from this vendor while the other was bought from a different seller
  7. Yep I have. I bought the Impala wagon Not to bad of a casting just lacking some detail in a few places. (IE No rear tail gate vents that the 72 would have had. But at least the hood opens!
  8. Not finished yet as I'm still working on the engine for it. The '59 Sedan delivery started as a '59 El Camino kit, But I wanted something different since I have a '59 El Camino already.
  9. Since I have two different Fireball Roberts 57 Ford's (red w/white & Blue w/white) I wanted one of the '57 Chevrolet's that he also had driven. This is a Copy of his '58 Virginia Sweepstakes race , Race car. The Car is a Re-tooled AMT/Ertl 57 Chevy, The tires and steel rims came from a Revell 57 Chevy Sedan kit.
  10. This is the '97 Buick Lesbre That replaced the '95 that I had. It's a very nice car, It's even the same color my 95 was. The pictures were taken at the dealer the day before I bought it.
  11. I do like Revell's 57 Chevy Bel-Air Sedan's But the one flaw that the kit has is the stock rim's. To solve that problem I decided to use the tires, and rims from the Re-tooled AMT/Ertl copy. I do think they worked out better than what Revell put in the kit! What do you guy's think of the tire/rim swap over??
  12. Those are really nice! Maybe you should build Ultra Magnus to go along with prime, Since they were the same make of truck! Picture of the Toy copy found on the web.
  13. I'd like to get another bel air sedan to change into a two-ten four door thus making a complete set of 4 door sedans.
  14. They Both are Revell 57 Chevrolet sedans that I converted into Four Door Sedan's. Picture's of what they started out as
  15. Just about completed , Need to do under the hood work (IE engine, firewall ect.) The Bel-air four door sedan show's the difference in the trim level's Both kit's (Revell) started as two door sedan's
  16. I to like building Factory stock looking car's And would love to see the 66-70 Bonneville's return along with the 68 & 69 Chevy Impala's
  17. Read the book, As for the Movie It's MGM not Disney. The Guy who played Bomburst was also in Gold finger 007 movie.
  18. Well my copy Of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang now has a Monogram Duesenberg engine under the bonnet (hood) And it fit quite nicely.
  19. The movie is 49 years old! And my 22 yearold son love's both the movie and car, Beside's it did become a broadway show as well a few years back. Not to mention O'l Chitty went o auction about 6 years ago and fetched a hefty sum of money! The kit is very rare, And I'm lucky that I have a copy of this famous automobile. You might be suprised on how many people would love to see it as a model kit once again. Who know's Moebuis brought back the old aurora Monster kit's, and being 2018 would be the 50'th for the movie they could remake the kit for that reason , Just as Round 2 has with some of the Star Trek kit's that hadn't been around since the 1970's!
  20. I have the Aurora kit that was issued back in 68/69 (car has been built) Since Moebius has some of the Aurora kit's I was hoping that the molds for it were still around. So one could update the tires from plastic to "rubber" , And also add an engine. Opening the hood to see a engine.
  21. Any info on if the molds are still around? If so maybe Moebius could do a long overdue reissue of this car kit!
  22. The '65 Impala is 99% done, Just need to apply the body decals.
  23. Seen the revell Fast and f acura at Toy's R us. They are fileing Chapter 11 So they will likely close a few stores and not reduce much of the stock ( most of the high end things will be shipped to different locations that won't be closed.
  24. Did some looking for you and Most think that the car was Cumberland green w/ willow green or like the photo
