If when it comes on the market, And if I have the extra cash I'll get one or two of them> Even though they are a race car kit I am a model builder,And I can and will convert them as close to Factory stock as I can. I done that with the "Pepsi #39" Chevy and will do it to the Oldsmobile stock car as well. We are after all model builders here, and I have seen cars on this forum that were converted/altered many times over by other members.

After building a plain '85 Oldsmobile I decided to do a '85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham. I adjusted the ride height on this one.
-
Almost finished , Need to do some decal work yet. I thought the ride height looked way off on the blue copy I built so I adjusted that by sanding the front springs down some ,and cut the back spring down a tad as well.
-
The down side to this kit is the incorrect ride height which it to high and will require adjustment. The blue's ride height is to high compared to the reds adjusted ride height.

Hobbico - BANKRUPT!
ranma replied to niteowl7710's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Wasn't there a company called Hostess that done this also? Another factor in this is how much they pay their CEO'S? As the company that made twikies gave their Ceo a multi million bonus while employee's took pay cut's ect. Yet Hostess was bought out and has returned to store shelves. along with wonder bread! The real issue is quit giving CEO's Multi million dollar bonus's ! -
Thanks to Revell for making the '85 Oldsmobile 442/FE3-x Kit. I have already built one as plain , So the second is going to be a brougham.
-
Is there anyone who cast the front end part for a 1/25 '87/88 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme??? ( grill/headlights/front bumper)
-
I have not seen any builds of Revell's '85 Oldsmobile 442/FE3-X kit on the forum so Here is one that I've built. I decided to do an olds 350 rocket tribute under the hood. This is just a plain Cutlass Supreme.

Tried to strip with paint thinner, I wasn't Going to even try to take it apart Mainly because the body and chassis are heat pined together, Most likely That was done by Jo Han.

Really They need to recapture the "Cardiac Kids" Type of team they had in the late early 80's They need a QB like B.Sipe or B.Kozar By his stat's Bernie was a better QB then J. Montana!

'58- '65 Chevy "X" Frame headers
ranma replied to Greg Myers's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Hey Greg, Chevrolet stopped using the X frame The last production year would be 1964 as the 65's went back to the standard box frame.
