  1. Going with a rare color again this time blue. Interior as it is now. (molded in white) The stretcher blanket is to painted toilet paper.
  2. according to what I found it would be Orange.
  3. Last of the pictures for the ambulance.
  4. A few more pictures of the trailer and one with the truck that will be pulling it.
  5. First two pictures more to be posted later. as PORKY PIG WOULD SAY " That's All Folk's"
  6. I won't recommend this resin body as it is not very workable, I ended up completely having to graft a AMT 70 chevelle to it for The Chevelle parts to work correctly. As I was trying to remove un-needed resin behind the head light insert's they broke off the headlight hold's also the hood didn't fit correctly either, and the windshield is another matter to deal with. The suggestion of using a 68 El Camino kit to complete is COMPLETELY WRONG!
  7. If anyone happend to get the 70 El Camino this is to let you and everyone else know that the AMT 68 El Camino parts will not work with this resin body! I found this out after I got it in a trade deal. It will require a AMT 70 Chevelle as My 69 Chevelle Convertible chassie proves!
  8. No she had a coupe one with a trunk. it was silver with a purplelish interior. Funny thing about it is when she traded the Ventura in she noted it had a full size spare, and by golly she wasn't buying the J2000 without it having a full size spare tire! Needless to say the Pontiac dealer wanted to make the sale so they took out the compact spare and gave her a full size tire in it's place! It still makes me laugh even though it happened back in 1982! she passed away in 2001 with parkinsons .
  9. First was the Black 69 non judge and Now there is Non Judge #2 painted with Dupli-Color GM quasar Blue.
  10. I am not 100% positive but I believe so but her's was a Ventura SJ.
  11. Nope, It's the actual 1977 Model kit that I got in a trade deal
  12. Built this one for the first time and going to be a Shell Gasoline tanker when I get the decal's for it. I have a Yellow F2674 S-Series that will be pulling it. I added a Measure rod( was a long Fire poker) spear end cut off and painted yellow. air lines are most likely in the wrong place but it's the first time doing airlines.
  13. My grandmother next to last Pontiac that she had, her last Pontiac was an 82 J-2000. I really liked her 77 Pontiac though. the Pontiac arrowhead on the front need's to be cleaned up a tad but otherwise it's done.
  14. Got this in a trade deal and since most of the parts are going for another project, I decided to Chop a old 66 Chevelle wagon up and use the parts to build THIS 68 Chevy. The project is stalled until july for body filler. I don't want to use testor's brand as It don't seem to work that well. updated photo
  15. Still need's some paint work and bare metal foil work done.
  16. I needed a 54 chevy for my 30 years of Chevrolet collection. Sadly revelle's 53/54 is missing some of the parts to make a "stock" copy. With that being said I then raided an old AMT 51 chevy. the 51 gave up some of the parts I needed to go on the 54, those parts are as follow's tires and rims, engine and the steering wheel. The decal's are from the Jo-Han Ambulance that I recently finished. I'll try and post a few more pictures but for now here are these two. This is a reissue kit I bought last week at Hobby lobby.
  17. Well It is now about 99% done just some finishing of some small's but here are more pics.
  18. I just bought a Franklin Mint 60 Chevrolet Impala, it cost me $25.00 at a local verity shop. I see them selling on some sights online still for $129.00! and that's not ebay There I have seen them for $30.00 + the shipping cost.
  19. Pictures of what the ambulance will look like on it's wheels, are just mockups.
  20. I will not say how I got this kit but I am just happy I did finally get one after 30 years of trying. Here's the start of it . I went with Orange and white instead of either red or red and white. Last picture is what made me go with the colors.
  21. a while back I was at a hobby shop that I used to go to weekly (when I lived in that town) And talked to the owner about the Force 440 cop car when we looked on line at a box closely the side view looked like roscoe's cop car but as a two door. So does anyone know if the molds were changed to the 4 dr. or what because I don't think force 440 has ever been reissued.
  22. STOCK. I like the factory stock look for my cars. not to much into the custom cars.
  23. Attention Fellow Model Builders! If you go to youtube you can watch a video of the 59 Chevrolet being produced from clay to the real car's being built at the factory. then theres a video that show's pictures that life magazine took at a Chevrolet factory in 1959 there you will see that the Exhaust manifolds were painted red along with the engine. and the 6 cly exhaust manifolds were painted blue along with the engine. It's a must for anyone who want's to build a strait from the factory car.
  24. I'd like to take this time to thank JIMMY FLINTSTONE for doing this body! I am glad that he and people like Modelhaus are doing these castings. I could only wish that the Model companies would do research into these companies and see what sell's and put out what the modelers really want not the same old tired kit's from the mid 70's and 80's. Thank you all who have read this post and to those who said they like what I am doing with it.
  25. Steve, Jimmy makes them and sell's them on his own site and it run's 18.00 ! I recommend it highly. I bought the 58 and a57 ford 4dr wagon and he sent me a free figure of a sexy woman holding a welders helmet and a drop light. her overhauls are off down to below her butt.
