Resin body by Jimmy Flintstone only bad area is the engine room as the resin is pretty thick close to the radiator on the engine bay. and the right side head light area has to be trimed well so the light crome will fit. Other than these two minor problems It's a decent resin body.

Basic trim level GTO. I find that the testor's Pontiac engine blue is not the right shade, So I mixed testors turquoise bottle paint with a few drops of testors steel silver to get as close to Pontiac engine blue as I could. the results of the engine color I think is dead on.( my grand mother had a 66 Pontiac tempest with the OHC 6 and this was the engines color. I got the GTO from a trade deal with Impcon. as well as the 67 Impala kit. The 77 Pointaic Ventura will be shown on here when it get completed.

It was The customized one but I went stock the rims and steering wheel are from the 66 impala kit. It's 99.9 % done just needs the headlights glued in but I don't have the glue yet for that.

The fact that Fox sports 1 Destroyed speed channel and Now fox has hard to read racing leader box it was better when they had the ticker type leader box streaming at the top of the screen. That small white print box they use now is just to darn small and you can't read it. Having 200 + channels on t.v. and nothing and I do mean Nothing decent to watch. T.V. land was good until they started making their own "new show's" CMT(country music Televison) No real music anymore there. Just like the nashville network went then changed to spike. Court tv became True T.V. I guess they can't help them selves from changing into well you all know.

I know not everyone here likes the Corvette, but being a American sports car that can beat some of the most pricey sports cars made it is sad that 3 or for Corvettes that went into the sink hole are a total loss. Would peoples opinion be the same If god forbid that something like a tornado took out the Ford museum? Or the Auburn Duesenberg Cord Museum? love them or hate them they are part of our American history. it's a sad fate for those corvettes because they are really no different than any historical piece . They were being preserved for our children's children and beyond. Yes I know there are many corvette's around but some in the museum were just about one of a kind cars.

If someone was to resin cast this how would they go about doing so? The tuck is molded in red. found at a garage sale paid $4.00 for the box that had three built kits in it. But I did not buy it for being something of great value money wise but to be part of my collection.

Jim B you sir are correct as the dies were changed to the transtar II ( the first issues of the Tranny II had the same rear drive suspension that was in the 4070 a kit. And ertl also Did the same to the 4270(4200) except they did change the rear drive suspension on that kit. I doubt that Round 2 will spend the capital to change the molds back.

The first two pictures were found online. I did one of the red and one of the light blue which had a removable top as did one of his red cars of that year. I placed the driver side mirror unto the upper door as shown on the picture of one of his red and white cars. otherwise out of the box build's

Yep the parts came from the revel/Monogram 60 impala kit and as you can see the parts fit decently.

This was a old quick silver 60 Chevrolet delivery some of the parts were missing when I got it. I did not care for the custom look of it so with limited tools and a Donor 60 impala I went for a used 60 Chevrolet delivery wagon. hope you like it Still needs the hood crome though.

This is the Last Corvette that My wife" Akane" (on this forum) had completely done by her self. she went blind about a week after, she did not like the color the car came in nor the wheels it had come with it. She raided a impala police cruiser of its wheels and tires. As most everyone know's on here she went home to the lord on dec .28,2013 so when I found this gem today I decided to post it in her memory.

My Late wife got it from Fred's model word for Christmas around 7 years ago he has one every once and a while up for sale. He's a lot cheaper than Evil Bay!

I did not have the heart to spray paint the cab, I built her about 6 years ago it has made it through two electrical fire and when other models were stolen they missed taking it thank goodness. I had one of these when they first were issued ( I was about 6 years old) My dad worked for harvester in Ft. Wayne Ind. he painted the trucks for them till retireing in 1992. That first one did not last as being that young I played with it. I am older and wiser now and she stays in a show glass showcase with a transtar 4270. on a shelf in my room.
