Like most new cars it's down right ugly and looks about like all the newer BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH with the large bottom grill even the mustang suffers from this ugly yokahoma looking junk.

The kit was based on a 92 Caprice wagon that runs around here in Van Wert Ohio. the chrome strip had damage near the rear bumper, and the door hanles are blacked out on it as well. And their roof rails matched the body color, Maybe it was orderd that way? Thre is a buick Roadmaster wagon at a used car lot here but it's in need of a transmission work, body is decent though and has the woodgrain on the sides. I wish that Revell would take these two cars and make plastic kit's of them(full detailed) , They could be one of the first 4 in ones. With options like, Factory stock plain without wood grain, factory stock with wood grain, police,fire dept,taxi and customized . All they would have to have are actually two diffrent sets of tires four diffrent rims, decals and the lights/taxi light for the service cars.

Anyone else rember these Monogram snap tite kit's of the 70's? Dragsters in a plasic 16 oz pepsi or 7*up bottle. Must be hard to find now ,show em' if you got them.

The 4270 (4200) #2 in the international model line for ertl, #1 Transtar 4070A #3 1466 farm tractor all were first issued in 1973. although the 4270(4200) kit was around till as late as 79, it was out of production. The molds were changed over to the 4300, this is easy to spot on the first 4300 (yellow molded) hoods. If one looks at the underside of the original issued 4300's hood they will see where the extra length was added to the 4270(4200) hood. On another note there was two diffrent issues of the transtar II, So ertl acually made three IH transtar cabovers! When ertl changed the 4070 a into the transtar II the air ride suppension was carried over, The later edition went with the hendrick walking beam suppension. Which got shared with the 4300.

My first Car was my older sisters 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme with an olds 350 in it. ( Monte Carlo rear window design) Loved it , BUt wished I would have gotten my older brothers car that my oldest sister gave him after she went in the army. She got it from my Grand mother in 1978, A very low mileage 1966 Pontiac Tempest with the OHC 6.

I have had a few bad cans of testors spray paint's but I have been having more problems with their bottled paints. I have had three bottles that I used once or twice then the paint jelled and got hard, Yet I have four bottles of Pectra from the early 70's that is still good to use. The bad colors that hardened were kept closed and stored with the rest of the bottled paint's. The three Colors were turn singnal amber, saphire blue met, and red. I have had this issue in the past as well with other colors from testors. Anyone else?

My Modelhaus 92 caprice wagon came actually yesterday, very nicely done body but I'll use a alternomad interior pan for it to avoid all the chassis cutting.

Once again revell is doing the share your dream wab site. I have posted a few new Idea's such as Adam-12 police car, Cadillac ambulance, Impala SS wagon(phantom).

Got 4 Revell model kit's off of ebay Total cost of $27.86 The cars are as follow's 1. 96 Impala SS box is openend , but parts are still bagged. 2. 98 Corvette roadster, Box opened, Parts still bagged. 3. Acura Integra Type R, Factory sealed still 4. SnapTite Dodge Concept Car, Factory sealed still. Number 3/4 Maybe up for trade soon.

What's the price of it?

Ol' Man Ford wanted to use soy bean made plastics for car panels, He even demostrated the the amount of abuse the trunk lid could take. Now Case IH is using panels on their tractors and combines to reduce weight and add longer lastic panels that don't rust. They even proved how derable the panels are by droping bowling balls on them. Flexed and no scratches.

While watching repeats of the Incredible Hulk on Esquire today an epiosde which i did not get the name of Used both the red car and the truck w/trailer from the movie duel. Yep they were the same vehicals they even used the scean from the movie when the car was ran off the road and sideswiped the white fence. The story on The incerdible halk goes like this , A female trucker steals back her truck and trailer that was high jacked from her( enter the old Peterbilt and tanker) she used david as a distraction to steal it back. David manages to get in the truck with her and she tells him her story. The Red car takes chase and ends up in the fence. Later the highjakers steal the truck back , David sees this and hot wires the red car and goes to get her back. He becomes the Hulk and gets the woman free, She ends up takeing the red car and finds David after he changed back. Another scean For duel comes into play, Yep the radiator hose blowing one. The episode name was never give a trucker and even break, and most likely can be on youtube for anyone to see.

I wish GM would have made this for real. The model is kitbashed from a 96 impala ss and the Alternomad. The body is the impala ss while the is from the alternomad kit. I cut the roof off of the SS along the top door seem's. I know it's not the best, But it was my first true atempt do do such a kit. Also my first time to do putty work.
