  1. Hope this thread don't turn ugly. But I my self would like to see: 1. 59-67 Impala wagon kit's 2. 59-64 ford country squire Kit's 3. Brady Bunch Plymoth wagon 4.70-77 Chevy, Pontiac or Oldsmobile wagon's I know some will say wagons are stinkers and why model companies should not do it, But with the suscess of the 57 Frod Del-Rio it could happen!
  2. James, Nice General Lee ! Could it be the one Luke Broke the radio antena on when he slid across the hood?
  3. Before it was round 2 Ertl had a 800 number to call them about a problem, They didn't just send the part you needed but the whole kit.!
  4. Steering wheel is easy! just add a horn ring, that is not hard to do. any modeler can add it to this steering wheel!
  5. Nope, plenty of them out there already, anyway that is what the resin market is for.
  6. Red and the gold ones are listed on their site $49.99 due later this year. Rather have the white scout traveler though. Doors open along with the tail gate, But the hood is cast closed.
  7. Leepu + 81 Camaro = Ugly car. Leepu + 72 Ranchero = Even worse ugly car. Leepu + japanese car = more ugly cars. It looks like Leepu loves pointy fronts on his cars.
  8. I got mine Via ebay in the mail today.
  9. These should be listed as ERTL BLUE PRINTER KITS, ALSO the Transtar 4070 a and the Transtar II are missing from your list.
  10. All of the Transtar series of truck kits had plenty of chrome. But that's not the reason the S-Series weren't a big seller. The Paystar 5000 kit's also had less amount of chorme, and there was several diffrent issues of the paystar. They were as follow's: Cement mixer, Dump truck, logging truck, and just a plain paystar 5000 truck. The biggest reason the S-series failed was the extra long frame it had in the kit form, the box clearly showed a shorter framed s-series truck. The S-Series had three veration's that were kitted, those were the F-2575, F-2476 and F-2478 dump truck. Just because the truck was a big seller in the 1:1 did not equate to it being one in 1/25. As I stated before the first reason this kit failed was the long frame, sencondly for the F-2575 the grill was wrong as well. These trucks go together very well when being built, I myself am lucky that I have four of them built in my collectiont Of IH trucks.
  11. Highly doubtfull it ever will, as they weren't a big seller like the transtar II and 4300 kits were.
  12. For me it would be either a 35 Duesenberg or a 37 Cord 812 both are fantastic looking american classics
  13. Correct back bumper found for the 57 Del-Rio! Just find and buy the Johnny Lightning 57 Ford Courier delivery wagon.
  14. Bio Pic, About Brian Wilson and the Beach Boy's
  15. 66 Tempest wagon was made from a 66 GTO and a 66 Chevelle wagon. Just wish someone would make a 66 tempest hood.

  21. In the case of the 59 impala two door In all fairness It could be saved. I have done this on a warped 60 impala 4 dr. Take it completely apart carefully useing a flexable grill lighter , directly heat the warped area. Carefull around the the window edge and push warped area back down keeping even pressure untill cooled will help reove the warpage to a less noticeable look. same could be done to the wagons roof But again useing exstream care when doing so.
  22. Maybe you could modify a IH scout kit into one with some body work and such?
  23. Gone in 60 second's Elenore? very nice work
  24. Like I told Harry, My 95 buick Lesabre is a land yacht not a BOAT.
