  1. Here's my completed build. I like it!!! I dull coated the wheels and painted the body Tamiya Italian red. Nice kit. Al
  2. Here's a resin model I've been waiting for a long time. The 1:18 Best of Show Lincoln Mk V. This doesn't have any opening features, but that's OK because it beautiful and for only $97.00 it's a bargain too. Enjoy Al
  3. Thank you Bob, Ray, Dave and Danno. The decals are excellent in this kit and there is no bleed through of color of the body. They are very easy to work with. I did the sides first and then the roof stripe.
  4. Another quick build. I paint this one Testors Fathom Green with black interior. Thanks for looking. Al
  5. Thank you Peter and Joe. I really enjoyed building this one.
  6. I got this yesterday afternoon. I painted it Tamiya Italian Red, with semi gloss black interior. I really enjoyed building this one. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. Al
  7. I think I set a personal best build speed on this one. 2 hours, including paint and correcting the headlights. It's a great kit for 11 buck, comes molded in red and black. Of course mine is done in Testors Frost Blue Lacquer with Wet Look Clear top coat. All the black trim was done using a super size black Sharpie and the head light detail was done with an ultra fine Sparpie. Don't let the Snap Tite think twice about buying this one, Super nicely done. Al
  8. Thank you, Ron, Jim, Andy and Johan. Al
  9. Thank you Gary and Tony. Foiling the bumpers was a lot easier then I thought it would be. I used Tamiya's pointed cotton swabs to get in the recesses, which make the job a piece of cake. Al
  10. Beautifully done Tony. The color is outstanding!!!
  11. Thank you everyone for the nice comments. This is a must have for Ford lovers!!! Al
  12. Thank you Stephen, Peter, Carl, Gene and Joe. I was so excited when Motorcity released this one. I been looking the kit for years. AL
  13. Beautifully done Gene!!!
  14. Thank you Lee, Yuri, Steve and Ray. This is a good resin starter kit for someone who never tried a resin before. It's molded in white resin and looks as good as the original AMT kit. For $65.00 is a lot cheaper than the $200 to $300.00 originals I've seen on ebay and swap meets. This was a pleasure to build and clean up was a breeze. Nicely done Motorcity!!! Al
  15. I bought this excellent Motorcity resin at NNL East, but when I got home I realized I crushed the body when a large box fell on it on my ride home. I contacted Jeff of Motorcity Resin and he made me a new body at a great replacment price. I painted my Galaxy in Testors Candy Apple Red Lacquer, with Wet Look Clear top coat. Since the kit doesn't come with chrome parts, the bumpers and wheel covers were done using Bare Metal Foil along with all trim pieces. The interior was finished using a king size black Sharpie, giving the interior that perfect black vinyl look. The tires are from AMT's Firestone Parts Pack and the glass was tinted using 3 light coats of Tamiya's Clear Blue. This kit requires either a 65 of 66 Ford Galaxy kit for the chassis, which I modified by removing the drive shalf hump to make the interior o fit flush. This is an excellent transkit and a heck of lot cheaper than buying an original kit. Let me know what you think. Thank you, Al
  16. Thank you Ron. I want to build one like my friend Duane's X Camino. The workmanship on his Buick truck in unbelievable.
  17. Thank you James and Geno. This is a real nice kit. Al
  18. Thank you Carl, Mike, Lee and Chris. Here's a little Tip for Buick and Magnum 500 wheels. I use a Black Ultra Fine Point marker, the tip is small enough to fit around the lug nuts and covers the chrome very well. Al
  19. Thank you Dennis, Bill and Ray.
  20. Thank you guys. The only thing I don't like is the fit of the front bumper, otherwise I'm quite pleased. Al
  21. I won this one on ebay for 99 cents plus $4.00 shipping, a pretty good deal for a fast build. I painted it Tamiya yellow (no clear coat on this one) with Tamiya semi-gloss interior and center of the hood. The glass was tinted with 3 light coats of Tamiya clear blue. I changed the kits supplied tires with AMT's parts pack RWL. It was 100 degree's when I took these pictures. I think the yellow kept it from melting. Thanks for looking. Al
  22. Thanks again everyone. I've added a rear licence plate on the driver side to complete it. Al
