  1. Very nicely done. Beautiful paint!!!
  2. Thank you Joe.
  3. Thanks again guys. I really liked the way the Wet Look Clear came out over Tamiya's White Primer. Al
  4. Another quick resto. I tinted the glass with 3 very light coats of Tamiya's clear blue. The interior was paint Tamiya's semi gloss black with silver accents. The tires are AMT parts pack. This is strickly a curbside, no engine. This one took me 3 days to complete, I hate these long builds. Thanks for looking. Al
  5. Thank you Joe and Phil. I really enjoy doing restorations, they are so fulfilling. Al
  6. Thanks guys. I'm really excited about this build. Like Mike said, the prices on these are way out of my league, but when your friend hands you one, it's like hitting the lottery. I'm not an engine guy, so this will be a curbside. Al
  7. I got this one from my friend John, who just loved the color green. I stripped the paint in purple power and primed the body with Tamiya's primer white. The blue accents was done using Tamiya's mica blue. I then clear coated the primer and blue with Testors wet look clear. The decals are from Firebird Designs and were also clear coated. This will be a curbside, since most of the engine is missing. I started this project 4 hours ago, so it'll be one of my fast movers. Thanks for looking. Al
  8. Thank you again everyone for the nice comments. Steve, that is one nice drop top. I like the color. Al
  9. Thank you Gerald and Carl.
  10. Thank you Dan.
  11. Here's my Modelhaus 76 Coupe DeVille in Lipstick Red.
  12. Thank you Stephen and Gene.
  13. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. This model has an engine, but it was build by my friend and it didn't come out very good, so I glued the hood closed. I posted a 67 300 awhile back that I was going to restore, but the previous owner used sooo much glue, that when I tried to take it apart it shattered. So I was so happy when John gave me this one last Wednesday. Al
  14. Well here's my 3, a rare Miller resin cast 53 Olds 88 4 door, an Excel 56 2 tone green 4 door, and my 50 Olds wagon by Best Model Car Parts resin body. Al
  15. This is one of the models that my friend John gave me when he cleaned out his house. John originally painted this Testors copper enamel. I stripped it in Purple Power and painted it Testors Honderous Maroon Lacquer and Wet Look Clear top coat. The interior was done with Tamiya's Primer White with Maroon carpet. I tinted the glass with Tamiya's clear blue and added BMF Thanks for looking and let know what you think. Al

  19. A buddy of mine called me and said he was selling his house and getting out of the hobby, so he wanted to give me his stash. What a good friend. These pictures are only a portion of them all and all are 100% complete. I'll have to buy some more Purple Power. I love restoring these things. Al
