  4. Nicely done Ray. I really like the dog dish' s.
  5. Beautiful build. I didn't put the graphics on mine either.
  6. Thanks again everyone. This may be a snap kit, but it is excellently done.I loved it so much, I just bought 3 more. Al
  7. Thank you Al. I did break the windshield trying to remove it from the rivets on the body. The broken glass give it that true work van look. Al
  8. Nice looking VW. Tip: When using BMF, burnish it down with a Q tip and then trim it off. To get a nice high shine on the BMF, use Novus #2. It's the same thing as BMF polish at half the price.
  9. Beautiful build!!! I've got to get more of these. This kit is the best bang for the buck.
  10. Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I've been waiting for this to come out since I saw it at last year's NNL East and it's well worth the wait. Highly recommended!!! Al
  11. This came in the mail yesterday and I couldn't wait to start it. I knock it out in 5 hours. I primed the body with Tamiya's primer white and then 3 coats of Tamiya's mica blue. All the window trim, wheel arches and front bumper were done with ultra-thin black Shaprie's and the interior and bed was painted Testors semi-gloss black lacquer. I plan on doing the wheels in black with a chrome outer rim. This is a real nice kit and with a little extra detail, brings it to life. Also, the sunroof is clear in the kit, I tinted it using Tamiya's Smoke. Thanks you for looking. Al
  12. Beautifully done Steve. The top looks fantastic!!!
  13. Great news!!! I've been waiting for this kit since I saw it at NNL East last year. Just ordered mine on ebay and will be here Monday. Are the decals water slide or stickers?
  14. You're right, my bad. I looked at the CMC tag. I have 10 CMC's and I grab the tag that said Bugatti, I have 2. Sorry Al
  15. Really nice looking. I also like the vinyl top.
  16. Great looking build!!!
  17. Thank you for all the nice comments. The Modelhaus makes some of the best resins of never before kitted cars. Can't wait till NNL East to see what he has new. Al
  18. Thank you Stephen. I fell in love with this car back in the 70's, when I found a real one in a farmer's barn in upstate Wisconsin. Told my dad this would be a great project car and said, that car will never be worth what you put into it. He was wrong. Al
  19. I love it, Nice job. Whose kit is that?
  20. Wow, I'm really suprised the all the nice comment. I thought only Ray, Rich and myself would be the only ones to remember this true classic. Pat, It's a complete kit. Here's the link to the Modelhaus's Packard. http://www.modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4195 Thanks again, Al
  21. I built this one a couple of years ago and came accross it when I was reorganizing my collection. This is a Modelhaus resin. I painted it Tamiya's mica red with white and merlot interior. No clear coat was used on this build. Lots of BMF and the wire wheels were treated with black wash. Modelhaus did a beautiful job on this casting of one of my favorite 50's cars. Thanks for looking. Al
  22. I bought this one about a year ago and have been enjoying it ever since. This diecast is made up of 926 parts include formed copper hood and turned aluminum wheels and a wooded steering wheel. The dash is a little hard to see, but it is turned aluminum and individual chrome plated brass gauges. The model is fully plumbed using brass, copper and stainless steel wires. I love CMC's, but they are getting out of my price range. This one only cost me $295.00, that buys a lot of glue bombs. Hope you enjoy it. Al
  23. Beautifully done Ray. The tires, just say they were Armour All them.
  24. Anytime Johnny and thank you Gary.
  25. Great looking Ford Johnny.
