  1. Apologies, I do not know sir. If you would like I can take some photos and show you
  2. Right!? I was totally done shopping then I saw that and was like oh man.. cant pass it up!
  3. ok I seriously need to stop buying kits.. I keep finding deals tho!
  4. Got these this week.. I also have the same 510 kit in the upper left corner. Should compare the two. I REALLY need a 620 kit..
  5. This is just out of curiosity but why buy a kit you never plan to build?
  6. Almost forgot these were re-issued. bought two of them from tower hobbies. LHS doesnt have them
  7. This came in the mail today.. Totally forgot I even bought it. It took almost 3 months to get here and I would have never noticed if I didnt get it. Pretty cool surprise haha
  8. Thanks Paul should be fun. Already seeing some great detail. Look forward to seeing even more.
  9. Too late to join this? I just randomly started a Tamiya R89C kit that had been previously started by someone else. I spent yesterday removing paint so I can start fresh.
  10. I am actually not a mustang fan, let alone Ford after 1955 but I walked into my LHS today and everything was 25% off so I grabbed this.. mainly because I am a sucker for affordable 1/16 scale kits haha
  11. There are cheap snap-tite models on ebay, but I am looking for something a bit nicer. I guess I should have worded this a little better. He likes fire trucks, and has plenty of die cast ones to play with, So this one mom would put on a shelf for display, they both see my instagram posts of kits i build and asked if I could build something. The nicer kits, the trumpeter one being the only I can find that looks cool, is like 80 bux plus shipping!
  12. What is really irking me today is I the fact that it is so dang hard to find a decent Fire Truck kit. I want to build one for a little friend of mine and I cant believe the only ones I am finding are priced way to high to build fr a 5 year old who will more than likely destroy it!
  13. I was planning on making something that could be removed when not in use. The link you posted is cool, and would work but more than I wanted to spend. I will see if I can just make my own. This was the easiest I could think of as well, but was hoping there was something that looked a little nicer to just to keep any one from getting to worried about was in the window. Thankfully the window is over a garage entrance so its not an area in view of many units. .
  14. So I have recently moved, and have a entire room to use for a build station. This is great news however, unlike my previous spot which was an outdoor storage building, I have to vent this paint booth out the bedroom window. I have walked around Home Depot twice now looking for a easy way to do this but keep coming up empty. Here are a few photos (from my cell) that show what I am working with. The preferred setup would be something I can connect both hoses to and slide in the window frame. Any tips, suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated!
  15. very nice! I have this kit and plan to start it after my two current builds.
  16. Looks like were are a little under 1 mm to big to be perfectly scale.. ill sand it down and measure again.. well see what happens.
  17. Sorry for not updating.. I moved and started new employment so I have been unpacking and the wife has a billion item long to do list..
  18. Some progress Rear suspension and the exhaust I am making out of polystyrene tubing. Gotta redo the coil spring. Engine pretty much complete. Gotta still touch up a few places. My hand is so shaky deff need to practice haha.
  19. Got this in the mail today from VCG Resins. If any of you are debating ordering, do it. Amazing customer service.
  20. Great work afx, like this a lot.
  21. Thanks Nate, the wheels in the pic are the Torque from the kit, but I dont want to use them. It looks like the fronts are incorrect because the it only has the back section ( I was just checking stance) I deff like the stock wheels better, kinda going for that look where its a family truck passed down, so a younger guy left it stock but just lowered it. Speaking of the included steel wheels, I must have got a lemon of a kit because in all my years of modeling I have never had a set of wheels be so freaking difficult to assemble. maybe its the years and years of the box sittig in storage and rubber turned ot plastic but wow.. I got them in to test and now i dont want to remove them to paint LOL I am happy with the stance now, just need to get her painted.
  22. Saw this at my LHS and it was $60, been searching for it on ebay and Amazon and got lucky with Amazon for $22!
