  1. it looks fine man certainly better then my first.
  2. also what do you suggest i do with this space, i didn't remove it from the pro stock frame and now it looks awkward thanks for any help
  3. Hi, more stuff I added a little Racepack computer, a radio system glued the front cowl on and started the oil tank, but it still needs the pump and the brackets sorry about the pic I know its sucks oil tank and I bought some paper just big enough to fit the bike in, so better pictures now.
  4. its not the Show rod kit i just used the decals this was built to be a tow car for my drag cars in a diarama, the diarama never got built but i ended up scratchbuilding this any ways the idea was to good. i tried to build it a cheap as a could figuring the diarama would cost a ton everything is scratchbuilt, down to the 4 cylinder the only kit parts were from the parts box, and are the seat,weal/tire, grill, and the rear axel.
  5. K well here's some more little things finished I ended up just doing a 3rd new cowl, its just CF decals with some peace sign decals out of the HippieHemi kit. Not very impressive but I also did some decals in the back, I figure with a bike costing this much your gonna need some sort of small sponsors. sorry for such little updates, but I'm waiting for some A/N fittings to show up, so I can finish the oil lines
  6. OK well i kinda need some help, I'm building the front cowl and can decide what it should to look like i mocked up a few ideas, so which one works the best? or this one, which is the nose from revells Kurtis midget, i kinda like this one just cause it looks like a headlight here's the two side by side and for some real progress, not just more questions, I built a work/pit stand so what do ya guys think?
  7. thanks man, about the bike, i started with a cheap die cast pro stock bike i found at my model show, the thing was basically destroyed so i got it for only like 15 bucks, the frame is from the die cast but i modified it a lot to change it from a pro stock, to a top fuel bike, the engine, front fork, tires/rims, and the back half fender, are from the die cast, of course with some mods, i basically filled in all the blanks with scratchbuilt stuff, the only resin is form flash point and is the big CF scoop which is 1/16 scale, tomorrow ill try to post some more pics, i have started to work on the few body panels its needs
  8. thanks man, about the tires, i left them un sanded cause i wanted to show brand new tires, i have some Goodyear label decals i printed up to add to them to show that there unused but i lost them and haven't bothered to have some more printed, i agree with you on the exhaust, when i built this i tried to do a perfect model of a restored bike, which means that everything is shinny, perfect paint, new tires, polished aluminum etc, if i had the chance i would build another more like the original, make the engine dirty, not use gloss on the frame and all sort of other stuff, back then they simply couldn't afford the man hours to polish everything and if i ever build one again its going to completely different. the secret to decals is first the decals them self, the tamiya decals are printed by cargraf and are perfect, these are a few years old and your can't even tell, my only problem was the front cowl, the stripes, yellow circle and number are different decals, the 7 and yellow circle cracked, but they blended fine after a bit of work. im sure some one else can give us a how to on the decals better than me, this is only the second thing i have done a build with a lot of decals
  9. How was the spider web achieved on the blue truck?
  10. thanks again, my first post was a YRZ500 in the completed form about being kicked off i mean for posting imported bikes, which don't seam to popular here, but you guys seam to like, but i do have other car related builds that i haven't posted yet.
  11. thanks!! a lot i never thought you guys would like this so much. (also what does rice burning mean?)
  12. Ok well you guys didn't kick me off for the first bike i posted so I thought i would post another. This probably should be in the completed area but I'm not sure, i still have to add a few more wires, oil lines, and the weals on the wealybar. Hope you like it. sorry about the photos but this will not fit in any backgrounds I have.
  13. Ok well here goes nothing, my first post. This is Barry Sheene's Yamaha YRZ500. nothing special just a early tamika kit, I basically just added a few more wires, scrachbuilt a few new pieces, and replace some bolts with brass. (hopefuly the photos post) I haven't seen to many bikes on the form, but I'm hoping that's just coincidence, but if not don't kill me for the post.
