  1. eveyones building great, espcialy the plastic bolts. heres my huble offering today, the photo eched showed up form dirtmodeler yester day, the stuff looks great if you never tryed it, anyways, i sarted on the fornt suspesion, and added a few more little details. this is what im shooting for, a modifyed F-1 style suspesion, some shuvels and piks were radided from a tamiya kit and modifyed, and i kinda need your help, i got a great seat from dirtmodeler, and can decide if i should use it or the other seat, the black one looks cofterble which would be nice for the long drives, but the brass one just looks amazing, thanks for looking, and everyones build looks great
  2. cool, its a good thing romels dead, if he had his driver starter up, id shake apart,

    DTM Mercedes

looks great, love the flat paint on these moden day cars.
  4. cool man, more then one per month thats pretty amazing, It would be great if you could join the Post Apocalypse build, bessides based of this track record you can build one over the weekend
  5. Wow!! the gremlin looks great and in 3 days none the less, it took me more time to figure out what i needed to order for my build. eveyone elses build looks great too. This isn't reley much progress but it kinda elplanes my build, i figure thers no gas in the future, at least not essealy acceseable so i went electric, but power needs to come from some were, after scraping the lightning rod idea, Iwent with solar panneles and they hinge up for driving, now the waiting game begans, I'm wating for all of my aftermarking parts so i can build the front suspesion right now all i have are the amazing shocks from RB Motion (sorry for the bad spelling but my spell check stoped working, and i have discrafia) thanks for looking, and what do you guys think
  6. well here is my try at it not sure if i get the hole them thought. its a electric dune buggy, in mad max they're always fighting for gas so i just fix the problem Its a scratch built frame with most of everything else scratch built Its got 4 big tires from a daisy dukes jeep. Also a spare in case some zombie head pops your tire thanks for looking and i can wait to see what you guys come up with.
  7. Wow!, Barry your work looks great, for plastic here in the state I would mostly use 'Evergreen' brand its much cheaper then "Plastistuct" and offers most of the same stuff, but "Plastistuct" dose have some specialty shapes that "Evergreen" doesn't make. Thanks for the comment about the gas can but I was being sarcastic, its just a simple gas can nothing special.
  8. Everyone seems to be posting sneak peaks so here's mine. just a gas can......
  9. i personalty use the cheap double action one you can buy from harbor fright, might sound like ###### but its not that bad out of the box works just as good as some 100$ brushes in my option, i turn down a few pieces to get better results and quickly i find it to just as good as anything for your money, and for 20 bucks, if the paint does something wearied i just buy another and spend a hour modifying it.

    2011 builds

well im a little late in the game for this but i had to get everything together. sorry most of the pics are yellowish cause there on display in a room lit by incandescent without further ado here is what i built for 2011 these two are a ford GT-40, and a 68 doge dart, drag pack, Hers a Ferrari Fxx carbon blue, a 1980's Yamaha, and a rat rod red barren, my two pro mods, the black one was my first attempt ever at doing detail work so don't be to critical this was my first diorama, its a little bare right now im using some of its parts for another, the truck is a RC body i did for a client.(hasn't shipped yet), and the vw is a modified die cast these are kinda the reject table, with all the builds from the past but the two on top of the trailer are concepts, the un primered one is gonna be another pro mod, and the black thing is a van concept, just for safety the black car is copy right pending, so please don't steal the idea another rat rod, a nascar, funny car, and a big gun panted in drippy colors here is the drag bike you watched me build, and a lamons car in testing paint. a dusenberg that was for a client. a Chevy race car you watched me build. http://i1217.photobu...er/DSCN2341.jpg[/img ]and lastly a ferrari engine for a client that wanted a new age paper weight thanks for looking.

    fireo flyer

Sorry for the cheap name first i could come up with. This was built to replicate a real car, basically its has half of the original frame just slightly modified and the back half is a tube chassis It's ruing on 10.5 tires, and the engine out of the pro mod 55 Chevy, with a turbo. thanks for looking.
  12. wow looks like we have some great builds in store. about the diorama i kinda got one going. started this on the 27 of December Last year and I'm up to this point, still got to do a lot of weathering. with some photo editing it looks Apocalypsey thanks
  13. wow, the guy in the first link builds great unfortunately he did my idea for the contest,
  14. sorry but i think this is totally normal. I'm 14 and have never once been able to buy spray paint any were without an adult. I fixed the problem by buying a air brush to paint every thing. But next time your at the store buying paint, once you have checked out start talking about what your gonna paint on the back of the building.

    Drag Bike

Thanks everyone I'm not sure about the blower drive, I believe the blower sprocket is on another shaft over the chains shaft, kinda a hallow tube duel setup, but i don't relay know. i just looked at reference pics for that part. If you go to this link you'll see a true master of modeling build a top fuel bike, his is more common with real bikes, but the rules aren't very strict so i just fallowed the rules building the bike like I would. http://hsfeatures.com/features04/topfuelbikejc_1.htm thanks.
  16. My, build is progressing fast, but I'm gonna wait till the official start date of the 15 to post any pics in the mean time here is some crazy inspiration. this is a 60someting Cementer mortar fired by a huge tank. i Haven't had time to finnsh paint yet but its in primer at the moment. (Yes the guys in scale) the round were so huge that it need its own separate tank crane to load it. any ways I hope I inspire you to go crazy
  17. OK I'm positive, I'm in. I'm gonna build a dude buggy, with a twist
  18. I agree with you all that the name doesn't fit in my opinion all the auto makers not just GM need to stop looking at the past. They all need to actuality hire someone to come up with new names/ as well as the new designs they are all ready working on. If we keep going this direction ford gonna end up remaking the Model T with a electric engine.
  19. I know your all going to hate me but I kinda like it. Manly because its not a extreme undo able thing like most concepts, there's no big scoops, or wings, or ground effects If you angle the back of the roof a bit, like a 45 degree angle, getting rid of the rounded back it would look fine in my eyes
  20. Im gonna try Think about a dune buggy/scout. or a VW van, the hippies of the future now were did i leave my machine gun.......
  21. looks great but, instead of post apocalyptic you could build it as a pre apocalypse still do everyone shiny paint but bolt brand new machine guns and bright polished aluminum armor just my 2 cents
  22. looks good especially the seat, you got a shiny vinyl look perfect
  23. Both look great, but especially the 1/24 scale one. How did you do the wrecked body, i think because its vacuumed formed that you just heated the body up and pushed in the dents, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help.

thanks everyone. W-409: I wish there was a kit around too. but no company wants to touch the subject, Tamiya and Fujimi are the only ones going good bikes, but they stay to sports bikes subjects, not that I'm conplaning there great kits. Here is some more pics.(sorry there not as good quality as the first set ) thanks again everyone.
